We're outsiders, but we're no mackems. I'm not worried about Portsmouth, to be honest.
-
Not on this forum mate. Hence my restraint. It is like sitting with the home fans at an away match. *ninja moves*
-
Myself and Dr Spectrum are currently cheering Boro, I would imagine.
-
David Platt is such a twat "Gael Cliché" indeed.
-
Now that is a particularly gutting result
-
justice. vile club
-
Carvalho on Agbonlahor, Gunarrsson on that West Ham player (Etherington?), Kuyt in the Everton match, I hope those players are all having a good look at those pictures.
-
It was a very bad injury indeed, yes. Google for Luc Nillis' injury, though, worse imho.
-
Yellow at best tbh. Quick dab down with the magic sponge and he'll run that bad boy off. His foot, I mean, not the injury,
-
Absolutely spot on, there were several challenges in that period which could quite easily have produced injuries like this.
-
McLeish was in the local media this week saying he wanted the repulsive, knuckle dragging oxygen thieves to "bully Arsenal". Hmm.
-
I still think Luc Nillis is the worst I've seen, mind.
-
Good to know I'm not exaggerating - the link i saw is now down - but as Keefaz says, it is worse than that one. Can't see how he can possibly come back from that kind of injury
-
^^ the one i saw seems to be taken a little after and looks worse than that. Bone in evidence.

I hate it when stuff like this happens Where is the break though? Middle of the leg? around the ankle? Or around the knee? Really hope he's okay. And now of course the bastards are winning to rub salt in the wound, and of course make things even scarier for us. The break is just above the ankle. It will turn up on the web soon enough, but fucking norah, they're not exaggerating.
-
Seriously? Seriously, foot appears to be genuinely 'hanging off'. Fucking hell.
-
Leg snapped just above the ankle, bone clearly seen protruding through sock. I feel sick.
-
I've just seen a pic of this (don't ask, I can't) and trust me, it is a career ender Worse than Busst.
-
Didn't Peter Schmeichel have to have counselling to get over Busst's injury, it was so horrible?

re this born in the city / supporting the club thing ... I would point out that whilst people who live in, say, Denmark and choose to support, say, Newcastle, Villa, Man City or any other long term glory-shirkers are to be applauded, people who live in Denmark (or indeed, say, Thailand or Malaysia or wherever) and choose to support Chelsea, Man United or Liverpool should be driven to a secluded forest, lined up at the edge of a lime filled pit and despatched with a shot to the back of the head. A tad extreme, I agree, but I really, really do not like gloryhunters.
-
That is quite brilliant. Where did you find it?
-
Lovely move that from Barca, they seem to be bumming Celtic quite firmly in the face just now.
-
Would that count as humiliating the opposition today? I loved Wenger saying Nani was not showing respect the other day. It made me wonder how his team's constant niggling at referees, begging for players to be booked or sent off or waving imaginary cards at the ref is showing respect.

Actually, I'll tell you what my favourite moment of football history is, it is Brazil's fourth goal in the 1970s WC final, and in particular the way Clodoaldo nonchalantly skips past four Italians at the start of the build up. If anything epitomises the beautiful game, then it is that goal.

I have a big soft spot for Fulham. If I lived in London and couldn't get to see Villa play, I'd definitely go and watch Fulham when i wanted a football fix. Great traditional ground, the cottage is lovely, an Archibald Leitch stand, a fantastic location by the river, decent fans, good boozers all round the area, the neutral end to use when away tickets sell out quickly, knowledgeable supporters, nice club who try to play football. What I don't understand are people who say "shit club, no fans" as if anyone who doesnt get 40,000 and play in some identikit blandodome stadium isn't worth paying attention to. They're entirely missing the point. About football in general, in fact. I hope they stay up. One Fulham is worth 100 Wigans.
