What bullshit. Happy with the Elliot signing, meh about the Sancho loan (but at least it's just a loan), but PSR has fucked this window. Fortunately, the CL season will appear in the 3 years for PSR next season, which will help hugely. Man United, though, what cunts they are. Also, Liverpool, even bigger cunts.
-
Big commentary from Romano there - he's signed for Cremonese, "he'll play in Italy". No shit?
-
15m? You're absolutely having a laugh, mate. There's no way he goes unless it is significant money, ie at least 3 times that, and probably more. Otherwise, why would we?
-
New signing Bizot looks very good thus far but we’d still need another I think.
-
If Man United want to throw mega money at us for Emi I’d take it. He’s more than a player for us, he’s a leader, and he’s “ours” which would make it difficult, but there is no doubt he is deteriorating. Had a dodgy season last year to say the least The only way I see us signing Paqueta is Martinez is going. Otherwise I don’t see how we can spend that big under PSR rules.

if we were in PSR trouble we wouldn’t do it. We’re not stupid. And that’s why I don’t believe there is anything in this. It would be him or Asensio, who would be much cheaper, has already been here and clearly wants to come back. i love Asensio. He’s from a totally different level. if we are tight on what we can spend we need defenders more than anything.
-
I hope it's not his foot again, that's the recurring one he had with us.

BBC treating Man U's exit as a subject of great national anguish.
-
Wow, he's clearly lost the plot, zero eye-camera contact, speaking in riddles. Unfortunately, I think they'll sack him soon. Also - Sesko, taking the 10th pen? WTF?
-
Onana really deserves to be knighted or something, he's provided so much entertainment to the nation.
-
I tried listening to that podcast and it took literally seconds of that fucking big goon laugh of his - and always laughing at things that are categorically NOT funny, unless you and 'the lads' think you're aboard some sort of BaNtErWaGoN!!11. And Joleon Lescott is a fucking cunt for that 'pocket tweet' thing. Those two are the faces of the mismanagement that almost killed us (and I include you, too, Toony, given that it is common knowledge here that you are one of us), the absolute pair of cunts. With the BBC and Richards I think it's the Robbie Savage thing where they're convinced everyone thinks "aw, what a character he is! I love him!" when actually the majority of right-thinking people think he's a terrible, terrible cunt. The only other mismatch so big between the broadcasters view of their 'talent' and the actual public view must be that turboshit Peter Drury, who is worse than covid, the Nazis, Coldplay and Isak* combined. * playing to audience here.
-
Although *looks further up* if there are two things worse than the state of Premier League football, one of them is Micah Richards, and the other one is Joleon Lescott. Two cunts I would not piss on if they were on fire, and I had ten bladders full of piss on me.

That photo says it all, really. What a shame.

My God, I feel sick and I don't even support Newcastle. I fucking hate Liverpool.

We are clearly fucked at the moment, unable to move, with owners who want to continue to invest, no debt, but kept in our place by both PSR and the European wages one, whatever it is called. We should be absolutely buzzing after the last few seasons but instead it feels really flat. Like we're being held back. I get the need for some form of financial control but the current set up is just so anti-competitive, it is untrue. Can't compete until you're earning the mega money. Can't earn the mega money until you can compete. So it becomes about the odd season maybe qualifying for the CL, but otherwise being held back.
-
Nah, he just can't play every game, not at the intensity he applies, and we played so many games last season.
-
And there was always the scope for a club which came into money to break the cartel. Which is EXACTLY how two of those five top clubs (I'm not including Spurs, because that's frankly laughable) got to be in that 5 in the first place. I agree some form of financial control is required, but the way it is shaped at the moment means clubs are encourage to do things like sell home grown product because the profit is all bankable against the rules. How is that a positive thing?
-
Not a prayer. Emery loves him, he's our only striker, and he's really only going to leave for the likes of Arsenal. There's no pressure PSR wise to sell him or that would have happened already. TBH he's not far off 30 now, I wouldn't be hugely bothered if someone offered us insane money for him at this point, but there are certain players Emery is never going to sell unless it's last option. Watkins, Morgan Rogers, Pau Torres, for example.
-
The entire system is rigged so you and us can't fucking move without a gargantuan struggle whilst the six just spend what the fuck they want, when they want to. The rules are the rules, but the rules impact some clubs far more than others.
-
Luiz and Ramsey? Probably Ramsey.
-
I like Luiz but some Villa fans are rewriting history over him, he had about 2/3s of a good season with us.
-
🚨 Leon Bailey is injured after his first training session for Roma — he could miss up to 3 weeks. @ilmessaggeroit Ha ha ha
-
Emery loves Jackson and Jackson loves Emery. He said he very nearly joined us the first window after Emery arrived, but an injury would have kept him out for a month. I think we'll sign him. I don't mind the idea of that but we've gaping holes elsewhere in the squad that need bodies first.
-
That must be well over £250m worth of sales in a couple of years for us now, and pretty much all in the name of PSR.

Rumoured to be our third kit. It is very nice, but the only replica kit I ever wear is my 1980 vintage away shirt (on account of me age).
