Well both teams have an embarrassing result to get over. Let's hope it's us who does it! Sunderland followed up getting hammered by us by going on a good run. I hope the same happens to us after the Stevenage result. At least Notts County have shown Sunderland can be beaten at home.

There is nothing wrong with what Pardew has said. What has Ranger done to deserve becoming a "fan's favourite"? Having a Twitter account shouldn't make you a fan's favourite. A few too many people seem to get excited about our players from a celebrity point of view rather than what they produce on the pitch point of view.

I don't believe it was a red car offence but I also don't believe the FA will overturn it because they are a bunch of dicks.

If we get him for £1m (assuming NUFC are even in for him) it's not exactly a big risk. I'm sure we could sell him for more than £1m if it doesn't work out.

Birmingham have used their 3 substitutes and Larsson hasn't come off the bench. That means he isn't cup tied then doesn't it? At £1m Birmingham would get the £1m they paid for him back rather than possibly lose him for nothing. I'd rather we bought Larsson for £1m than loaned Bentley for £1m.

I bet Campbell's on a very decent salary, especially for a 4th choice CB. I can see why he'd want to leave to play games. I'd be surprised if we got a fee for him.

You just knew Jonas was doing nothing with that chance. True but I can't picture Richard Keys rounding a keeper and lashing a shot away. I remember him from his TVAM hairy hands days. I don't remember his professional football career which is what Ray Wilkins was getting at.

I laughed after the game on Sky when Richard Keys said "Should have gone round the keeper" about Jonas' chance and Ray Wilkins said "That's what you would have done" in a sarcastic tone.

Maybe he's referring to his timekeeping abilities?

I was up celebrating the headed 'goal' when I realised he'd done the seemingly impossible and missed. At least he got the goal which ended up winning the game. He's a total mixed bag but he's our 3rd highest goal scorer this season with 7 in total. People moan about him and hate him but he has a strange knack of scoring the odd goal for us.

If Harper had made some of the mistakes Krul's made in the last few games he'd have been slaughtered on here. Every time Krul made a save it was "Harper wouldn't have saved that". Well Harper wouldn't have dropped some of those bollocks Krul has. Most teams rotate their keepers.
