My mate raised this point when we were discussing as to whether we should enter the ballot on Saturday together or individually. I said individually, but he made the point that the NUFC ticket website doesn’t like leaving single tickets, and maybe we should enter together. In reality it’s impossible to know what would give a better chance but I’m sick of thinking about it.

Agreed re Brighton. They’ve got Palace away next, although it’s a derby game I’d expect them to beat them. They’ve then got Fulham at home which will be tough for them. Could do with them dropping points.

If we had made a couple of signings, which would’ve likely came with January premium, we would then be handcuffing ourselves for future windows. The owners have said since day one that they are long term, patient investors and that we won’t typically act in the January window. Let’s see what the summer brings.
