Honestly don’t think he would. None of us truly know what happens behind the scene but this window has been more of the same when it comes to shipping out our average players.

I am hoping that after the window everyone gets their heads together to ensure lessons are learned. Not just about bringing players in, but selling them at the right time. Won’t go into details but we have some mediocre players on our books that are depreciating in value. We have had the chance to cash in and failed to do so. Needs to be reviewed to ensure that moving forward we are better.

At this point we just need a first team signing to lift the tension and give us a boost. Ideally we won’t be paying so much there we go. I hope moving forward we start shopping abroad again

If that is the case and we are being held back by this, then there needs to be a decision made by the owners of the club as to who calls the shots. Cannot not sign someone when the money is there, and we cannot fuck about and miss targets due to people not agreeing. Sure I read that Mitchell gives Howe a list of players and Howe picks. Might have been someone suggesting that’s how it should work rather than stating it as how we operate.

Have to say when I first seen it I didn’t think it would be ruled out. By letter of the law it may well be handball but if I was playing on a Sunday morning and that gets ruled out I’m raging. Will take it though, had enough dubious ones go against us over the years. VAR overall is a stain on the game.
