Had a hell on earth journey home. Flight to Manchester landed in Leeds, instead of letting us off the made us sit for nearly 2 hours at Leeds before then going to Manchester. Palace home game I was sat in the Leazes. Two blokes either side of me were huge (I’m a big lad myself), to the point that it was not possible for me to sit there. Could feel my circulation slowing down. Ended up moving over to the corner and standing on the stairs (something I used to do a lot), ticket got checked but I explained the situation and they told me I had to tell a steward in the Leazes. Moved back over to the Leazes and there were a few empties so I nabbed one of them.

So frustrating we couldn’t have even held on for a draw against The Ev and Brentford.

That back 5 should be the same moving forward. The front 3 I’d play next weekend too. Joelinton, Ramsay and Tonali in the middle.

Had that been our last game before the derby I’d be confident of us smashing them. Hopefully the game midweek doesn’t have much of an impact on us
