Cracking post, summed it up for me. What a laughing stock man, fucking hell, and the club don't have the decency to tell us either way.
-
And still no word from the club...
-
Agreed, why the fuck do Hibernian want Riordan?
-
Can't blame him if he has been messed around though.
-
The club could at least tell us if it's fucking true or not, for fuck sake.
-
O'Leary next manager, I reckon.
-
Gutted. What an absolute fucking farce this club is. We won't get fucking anywhere soon, it's a fucking joke. What does Ashley expect? If you don't give the manager the freedom to sign his own players he's going to quit, it's common fucking sense. If Keegan has indeed gone, which is looking very likely, then I hope Ashley, Wise and the rest of the cunts follow. What a fucking joke.
-
Underwhelmed, we shall see who is unvieled tommorrow, I have a feeling we'll be pleasantly surprised.
-
Bad business if we don't get three fucking players in. At least.
-
He's signing for Everton.
-
Probably! Aye it's him he's talking about, but it's likely to be a load of s****. That 'article' is just a load of s**** from a very bitter individual. He even says 'criticised a Toon fan who is now in the top 5 Newcastle United fans' No it'll be a coincidence Oh and "likely to be a load of s****" - why? mackems.gif Because the Stoke game was before the Bolton game for a start.
-
We need one for Coloccini IMO, before his chant becomes 'there's only one Coloccini, one Coloccini...'
-
What about the 'Follow Follow Follow' song? Thats a great song and I can see it being a hit with our fans. Is it: Follow Follow follow Newcastles the team to follow with a pint in wor hand, we will travel the land because Newcastles the team to follow ? Follow Follow Follow, We will follow the Toon where they go, And we'll travel the land, With a pint in our hand, 'Cos Newcastle's the team to follow.

Well said Diane, I for one am delighted it's back. Love everyone shouting 'Come on!!' after the drum roll noise at the end.

I renewed last Wednesday, was forced to move to the Leazes corner, but that's a good thing, £99 off my ST as well, so I'm not complaining.

Season Tickets due to arrive Thursday/Friday - see OP for latest
Danh1 replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
I got mine this morning, they have said that they reccomend Block E in the Leazes corner, so that's where I shall be moving, I paid £429 last season and that's what it is this time around, but they've brought in a student price so mine is only going to be £330, I'm over the moon tbh. -
Some? Maybe I have picked you up wrong here, but the season ticket holders make up around 90% of the crowd. The club sold all its season tickets by January this year, and by FA law you need to keep 5% for general sale and 5% for away fans, so it would make sense to say that "Season tickets are a major factor for ALL our crowds though." Okay, maybe I should have said 'most.' I am sure that we would have sold out for the games against Man United, Liverpool and Sunderland without the help of season ticket holders. The point I was trying to make, is that the 'unattractive games' against the likes of Birmingham and Wigan are the games that we would get shite gates for if it wasn't for season ticket holders.
-
The fact that the prices were cheap yesterday was also a reason for the high crowd. Perhaps we should lower the prices for all games. Season tickets are a major factor for some of our crowds though.
-
And the government will do nothing unless they are pressured by fans who believe in safe standing. I agree that this can only be good. Hopefully there is a bit publicity and our numbers improve.
-
Well with safe standing you wouldn't have to put up with people standing up in sitting areas. The point of safe standing is to please all football fans and bring back some tradition to the game.
-
what do you mean not again Why does the bloke try to pick faults with people who try to create an atmosphere... If it wasn't for the Gallowgate there wouldn't be an atmosphere this season. Yes the i know the 'Ultras' sing, as i sit in the North West Corner of the Leazes but the songs that go around the ground are nearly always started from the Gallowgate That's because of accoustics, the Gallowgate are by far the most influential stand, however they aren't very frequent and only seem to sing about 3 different songs.

Born in Newcastle, currently living in Hebburn.
-
Aye, only about 1,400 Birmingham fans today. All the empty seats are in the part of the stadium as well, not to mjention most expensive. The fans today made a fair bit of noise, when the Gallowgate is up for it, the ground is rocking.
-
Portsmouth at home last year and Man City away. As well as the testamonial.

Don't see any point in paying millions to move the listed buildings. SJP is only full three or four times a year, so what would be the point? It's easy enough to say that we will be doing better etc in a few years and everyone will come back, but what if we don't get back to our best? We'll have a 70 odd thousand seater ground with forty odd thousand people in. Maybe if we do get abck to our best, then we should consider it, but certainly not now.
