Imagine him with a pre season. Finding his position within the team and the team and him becoming more familiar with it. Working on that striker’s instinct that he lacks, that people understandably get frustrated with. Scary prospect.

Had a feeling tonight would happen. Reminded me of our trip there a few years back. Them flying, us not so. Bad injuries and looking shattered, no one gave us a chance and we done a job on them. Well done Eddie and the team, thoroughly deserved.

Aye that’s me too, feel like separating home and work is important for my mindset as well. I am glad WFH is such a big thing mind, don’t find the traffic anywhere near as bad as it was pre-covid.

I put about 3 clem on working from home in lockdown. Would never choose to do it again.

I applied for a job at NUFC (didn’t get it - shame as I would’ve went on strike until they stopped playing Hey Jude) and was slightly disappointed by the lack of salary advertised. I can see both sides of it, if I wanted a job enough through being excited by the company and the different aspects of the rule I would be intrigued enough to apply. I suppose that vindicates it. You’d think they wouldn’t waste their time going through what could be a lengthy recruitment process if the salaries were shite, as has been said.

I’ve always thought that there’s probably not many clubs to play for than NUFC when things are going well, but sadly the opposite when things aren’t. One extreme to the other. I blame social media, for all I use Twitter a lot it’s still a bit of a cesspit of divvies.

Said last night I could understand Forest pulling the trigger but that appointment is hardly one that creates certainty they’ll stay up. Suppose he done well at Wolves last season.
