  1. The Owen/Martins debate is moot now that Martins has most likely played his last game for us. Care to explain? If he feigned injury to get out of the match, he should never wear the shirt again. If he's actually injured, he'll take too long to get back to fitness to make an impact.
  2. Even if he did feign injury, we'll have to deal with it in another way. We just can't afford to lose him now. Bullshit we can't. If he plays again after feigning injury and destroying our tactical shape, that would seriously undermine Shearer's leadership.

  4. I can understand how he can be shit, I just can't understand how he can stop trying.
  5. No doubt we'll all be listening raptly to Shearer's comments on the situation in his post-match interview. If we indeed were forced into that bastardized 3-5-2 because Martins was feigning injury, he should be training with the reserves until the summer and shipped out to the first club of asking. Could have sent us down today.
  6. He's just stupid, has no footballing brain and doesn't understand why he won't get to play. Could be any number of things. Could have been pissed off by Shearer's clubbing ban. Could have been pissed off by Shearer saying Owen would start every week. Could be that he just feels that we're going down and thinks he can get a big money move in the summer by staying away from injury. Most likely some combination of 1, 2, and 3.
  7. They get an undeserved draw at our place, we get an undeserved draw at theirs. Fair enough. Alright Alan you've learned your lesson. No more 3-5-2 funny business, no more Shola. Guttierrez and Carroll to start every week. Two points off safety still sounds a lot better than three. We can still do this.
  8. I'm not even all that bothered about losing this game, the really disturbing thing is that the "Shearer Factor" seems to be zero for our players. The players are STILL playing with the same nonexistent spirit and desire they did under Houghton.
  9. Get God damn Ameobi off the pitch, get rid of this abomination of a formation.
  10. I'm going to say something stupid now so I'm just going to shut up and watch for the next 60 minutes.
  11. Taylor should've made sure the can hit him and rolled around on the ground like a bitch
  12. absolutely brilliant how we still have no presence in the middle of the park despite playing three central midfielders.
  13. I'd just like to know what kind of formation we're playing out there because I certainly can't figure it out
  14. Well, looks like we'll have to be striker shopping in the summer. ...if we stay up.
  15. IMO it's been obvious for weeks that he's stopped bothering. Add up his history of antics with Nigeria and I think it's pretty apparent what kind of shit has gone on.
  16. Seems pretty obvious from the interview that Martins is fucking us over. We just might have seen the last of him. That formation is absolutely fucking mental by the way
  17. Come on Man U you cunts, you better fucking do this right ...
  18. A win is neither crucial nor likely. A draw is probably what we'll get. That puts us just 2 behind Sunderland assuming they lose to ManU. Not a horrible situation to be in. If you think we need to win this to stay up you might as well consign us to relegation already because there's an ice cube's chance in hell of us beating Stoke at home with a severely depleted squad. Spurs away is an infinitely more winnable game. Like I said, if we draw and justice is done with the Mackems, we're just two points form safety. Still a very workable position. You're deluded. If we lose to Stoke and then Spurs which is more realistic than drawing either never mind winning we will potentially be rooted down there which means we could be playing catch up, which we already are to an extent. This game against Stoke represents an immediate chance to move out of the bottom 3 and close that gap providing the mackems lose of course and by a few goals. It also puts pressure on Stoke who till aren't out of it, although a win tomorrow should see that they are safe. I love how you're incapable of disagreeing with someone without calling them "deluded," "clueless," or a dirty foreigner. I'm sorry, I try not to make personal comments about other people, and I don't mind the fact that you're opinionated, but the condescending manner you address people just pisses me off sometimes.
