Newcastleu means Newcastle me thinks. cheers

Am I right in thinking hes in the same mould as a Nedved type player? youtube vids seem to show he is. Also, when does the window open, could we be in talks now to sign him later? He looks to be exactly what we need, a Beardsley-esque player, heh

haha, choked on my sandwich reading that

Beye for me. I'm also a big fan of Faye too but I actually can't fault Beye whatsoever.

haha Just been reading through their forum just now and its incredible the amount of bitterness, jealousy and pure hatred they have about us. Whats funny is that theres about 7 McShane threads on every page of their forum  http://www.readytogo.net/smb/forumdisplay.php?f=86

Yep, just read too. lol @ paddy the greek wrote: It'll come back to haunt me but I've got a good feeling about this match, I think we'll win 0-3. If we keep up our game and hold their strikers, I think we'll walk it.

http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/sundaysun/tm_headline=hard-work-must-go-on-at-united-8211-harper%26method=full%26objectid=20798001%26siteid=61634-name_page.html Newcastle’s triumphant players were joined in the dressing room after Sunday’s match by chairman Chris Mort and eccentric owner Mike Ashley. “He (Ashley) just said, ‘fantastic lads’, and shook everyone’s hands,” the former Seaham Red Star goalkeeper revealed. “He was happy. Him and the chairman came in and it was good to see his smiling face. Just as he left, it came on the television showing him dancing in the directors’ box – if it had been on while he was in there, he might have got some stick!”

I hope he signs too but I think hes doing the right thing in waiting to see how ambitious we are in the summer, if you were in his position you'd do exactly the same. Common sense to me, he wants to see the calibre of players we're going for. People need to be patient with this contract situation even though we've waited so long for him to regain fitness. They should start talking now but ultimately his mind will be made up when new players start arriving, which I have no problem with at all.

I think Jones will be off in the summer...........but to whom?

some funny images in this article all about podgy footballers, heh http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_page_id=1779&in_article_id=492566

Again, the man was outstanding today. Such pace on him for a big fella and some of the tackles he made made me cheer like a madman, Habib is sheer class

Bow to your master Roy.

craig hope is such a moron. Les is such a top bloke. Always very honest in interviews, he can do no wrong in my eyes, I hope he succeeds in getting his coaching/management badges eventually. Would be amazing to have possibly Alan and Les here helping as striking coaches or something whilst KK runs the 1st team, haha

Agreed, I recall a few games where faye held his own. Fat Party is the worst I've seen

same. he can win the league for all I care, he just gets right on my tits. prolly because I have to look at his face whenever he talks

Hmm, this kind of changes my opinion a little on buying him. I, like most people I suspect, would like to see his type of quality adding depth to our squad but when theres players whose fitness records surpass his, I'd rather see them in our team. He seems relatively cheap but I'd rather not wait until the following season to see him BARE FOOTY FRUIT for us. It all depends on who we get in the summer but surely he wouldn't even be able to have the medical, etc. I say we should check back on him in January, we may have no choice anyway...
-
Good decision, Harper's done very well for us in recent weeks and I'd even let forster have a go if Steve gets injured. Given will be sorted for pre-season too, not worth the risk now
-
what the fuck! its like hes at a convention or something and expects everyone to know what hes talking about talk about dull
-
I think an attacking midfielder, closely followed by a Centre back. If we buy those 2 of high quality, then we can build around them
-
I think he's got one more useful season left in him for us, I say keep him as a very handy squad player up until next season, then let him go
-
Not really that bothered because we'll get that title back next season tbh
-
...they all just snuck cakes into the dressing room when Sam wasn't looking... http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/6335/hottiezxrzbjau690ar6i9soj6.jpg
