I think he probably is a better manager than Howe overall. He was my first choice. But Howe spent the first part of his career lifting up Bournemouth from the doldrums. Emery spent the first part doing very well with low tier teams, but jumping arounf a bit. I'd always be worried with him jumping ship after a few years though.

yeah it's been a poor season. And Howe has made some baffling decisions. It was a poor summer after a brilliant last season, and it's fucking disappointing. But some of you were literally on his case back in September.
-
for one, you know it isn't. You and a few others have been the kings of limbic system responses, but rarely have the balls to admit when you've been mistaken about things. You've also soiled this forum with constant moaning and negativity. It might as wel be 4chan with doom-masturbating clowns like you around.

Exactly…they are fickle. Fo most of their respective careers, Emery has done brilliantly but he still has had more resources than Howe had until recently. In the PL, they have been pretty close to each other in terms of performance. Howe could get us to the CL Final (not that we will any time soon) and a few months later people would be calling for his head.

You lot will be broken clocks until you are finally right, and then pretend you weren’t horribly wrong for the last few seasons about a number of things. That’s what irritates me the most. The total lack of self awareness, or humility. If you lot are right in the end, your process of getting there has been dog shit. It’s really limbic system responses trying to disguise themselves as reasonable judgment. But we happen to have decent memories. i mean FFS we literally went toe to toe with PSG a few days ago.

And yet many Villa goblins were calling it his head at the start of the season.

And we finished 5th last year on 66 points, won a trophy, and have been quite good in the Cups and CL since.

Well that’s that then. Th expert has spoken

Perhaps that why we haven’t used it very often…until we have more time to train around it.

They’ll find someone from the Austrian league

Insert flavor of the month or someone we couldn’t possibly get.

And tonight Open C will be playing the role of Turnbull.

I'd say most of us who are Howe in are probably a bit baffled by some things. -

Nearly every team below us in the table has played low block football, and with some surprising results. Liverpool has seriously struggled against it recently. They've face it in a quarte of their matches so far. Are you all just going to change the goalposts ad inifinitum? -

the kind of tactic that works brilliantly against us, and has caused all sorts of weird results all season. -

Memories are getting shorter and shorter -
Not only is he top class at his job, but he is also not an insufferable cunt. I for one don’t want to have a cunt representing the team. winning as a decent fucking person is something else. We’ve had it with King Kev and SBR, and now him. I believe Rafa could have been that if the circumstances were different as well. We’ve gone through so much shit, but we’ve been lucky to have those four.
-
The point is he has changed formation before, and will continue to do so at times in the future. And he’s constantly tweaked within formations. Let’s not change the goalposts here. The argument a few have made is that he never adapts his formation.
-
It’s very nice that we haven’t had to stress over potential managers since 2021. I love that we have some stability, and the guy responsible for it happens to be top class.
-
How was this dude often a backup CB at Brighton? Way too good.
-
You’re the one annoying a number of posters with your rants as of late, man. Would be nice if you showed a bit of self awareness from time to time.
-
Seriously. Chill out, Kaka.

Some have suggested far dafter choices than Enrique. But it’s an insane point anyway. Howe has given us some incredible moments, our first trophy in nearly a lifetime, and just as importantly, stability. grow with him or likely recycle a manager ever couple of seasons given who would even come here. It just appears to be thinking governed by the limbic system, and not the medium and longer term.

But but he never changes formation.
