  1. What a fucking great performance that 4-1 was. Thanks for the memories KK
  2. Ah, shit. Wouldn't have thought Germany would score 2 goals with that "reserve-team".
  3. Aye, glad it's back to normal again too with the midnight finish. Think it's still 6pm, nufc.com have it as 6pm and the countdown on Sky Sports News earlier had it closing at 6pm, will happily be told otherwise like as I prefer it at midnight. Transfer window closing at midnight was so much better imo. Damn right, i'll never forget the 11:25 ecstasy of signing Antoine Sibierski. Not only that, but the whole feeling that was on, like having Sky Sports News on, pressing F5 here and on every other news site every 10 seconds, counting down the seconds like on new years day... ah, just loved it.

  5. Some pictures from today... I seriously hope that Hughton will never ever wear those sock again during a match in which he's the manager (he did that during his very first spell as caretaker manager). http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xc/103339598.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E61933F5159D5805EA0FD23FB033FBF15ECFA6CA61AE32C0FD http://cache2.asset-cache.net/xc/103339601.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E68057F1288AA776930FD23FB033FBF15E8961079097F8A719 http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/103339492.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E6D58E95E563BBA7680FD23FB033FBF15EC7B26AA346143D2B http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xc/103339568.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E67F5C18F2C401B7C00FD23FB033FBF15E497D614B2BCFFD89 http://cache3.asset-cache.net/xc/103339587.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E62635823CAAA8A32A0FD23FB033FBF15ED1F3D593C8EC67CE http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/0bLMd9RbWsfOw/x610.jpg http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/01pS1k147P0q2/x610.jpg
  6. 15 € on Denmark to win against Germany today. Germany will be playing with a shit line-up.

    Harewood is dogshit. Best, too.
  8. Is it still the case that the winner of the Carling Cup qualifies for Europe for the following season?
  9. I would enjoy a cup run tbh. But, knowing Hughton, he'll put out a line-up without any "senior lads" and we'll go out against some Championship side.

    Joey Barton

    Hughton talks about Barton.
  11. It says week commencing on that Monday, so it will be anyday that week depending on fixtures/TV. Ok, thanks. I'd like to get us Port Vale or Leeds, don't know why, though.
  12. As long as his health will allow him, have you seen the fucking colour of him? He's only more bout of screaming at the assistant and pointing at his watch from something popping somewhere. Don't think he's aged that much over the last years tbh... http://cache3.asset-cache.net/xc/103289542.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF87892102A727B1636DE2E6913CC66B0CDB5B55B46C426F80B205306DB1A894E7C9B024 http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/2932584.jpg?v=1&c=NewsMaker&k=2&d=77BFBA49EF878921F7C3FC3F69D929FD9D9B980672D5AF6BC5DDA238367397487568CFF39F885121E30A760B0D811297
  13. When will the match be btw? .com have it as Monday after the Villa match. I though that with us playing on Sunday that it would be moved to Tuesday or Wednesday.

if he's prepared to retire, then money isn't a problem in regards to wages. transfer would cost 5-7M for me, certainly achieveable if breaking our budget a little Problem is that we would be paying 5-7 MIO to a player who is at the end of his career and probably won't play another 3 years, though. how won't he play another 3 years, he look's fitter than ever He's talking about retirment now. He's 31. And he's a bit injury prone. yeah, retiring due to non-inury's though, he's fed-up with city and mancini. i wouldn't say he's injury prone, he hasn't had a major injury since 2007. Ok, that sounds better than. He would be great player for us, anyway. But I doubt it'll happen.
  17. He said he will continue as long as his health will allow him. I can't see him retiring in the next 2 years unless Mourinho would be on stand by.

  19. Wouldn't happen. I can't imagine Fergie stepping down without a fitting replacement available (Mourinho).

Hughton plays another great trick here. This will convince Ashley that we'll need to buy/at least loan out a striker. Kinnear was allowed to buy Nolan and Raylor because of the injuries to Barton and Beye in 2009 - so I guess that now Hughton could be allowed to spend a few million for a new striker.
  22. Never heard of him before, but tragic news, to die at that young age. Cancer is shit. R.I.P.
  23. From the realistic candidates, which for me only are Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City, I'd choose Man Utd to win the league. Hate Chelsea and Man City (only where they are because of mega-rich owners). Also hate Man Utd but they at least have been that good for the last 20 years or so. Don't think Arsenal have a realistic chance to win the title.
  24. Not that good, actually. Because that means Jose's on high wages - with means we probably won't be able to give him a new contract (on similar wages/he would sign). Or am I wrong?
