I think and hope that we will once he returns play better football because he can pass the ball very well (Even in that amount of games he's played for us for me it's obvious that he's a good passer of the ball)
Personally I would play in midfield/attack:
Guthrie Smith Barton
Nolan
Ameobi Carroll
Think its very much the same that we played under Keegan with Owen in Nolan's position, Geremi in Guthrie's and Butt in Smith's. So I think it could be a very good formation also for the premier league next season with two better centre forwards than Ameobi and Carroll are.
1st one was a goalmouth scramble after a corner. 2nd was a fantastic unsaveable header. 3rd was a top class unsaveable volley. 4th was a bit of a dodgy keeper trying to push it out and the striker reacting quicker to slide it in.
Not bullshit at all. Just a good comeback.
or manipulation...
Is "manomush" really badly drunk or just angry because some people on here are talking in a... not so good way about Owen?
Edit: I just saw that he is unable to quote others, too
After being an unused sub again today I can honestly see him looking after another club this transfer window. I think his chances to go to the World Cup would increase even if he went to Hull and plays every game from now till the end of the season and gets some goals. He will get more and more frustrated by how things are going for him.
Not that I want him at the World Cup or anything btw, just what I think could happen.
Opened my first bet365 account and put 3€ on Leeds, Arsenal, ManU and Cardiff or draw. Have to say I like that the odds are better at bet365 than at bwin but the bwin website was far better structured imo.
Have to check the odds but maybe I will now put a bet on them for releagtion. Think changing the manager when things are going well this time of the season is very bad for the team imo.
Wasn't it Oba Martins who almost got shot at a tank station in Lagos? Good for him that he's that fast and was able to escape.
Aye and the World Cup is in Africa... good to know it's so safe out there.
