Where are the modern warfare killing dogs on that picture?

Nothing new to me and Kimmage should have the same balls to name the guys like he did in cycling. Barcelona and Madrid fit perfectly to Fuentes. Operation Puerto covered a list of names - cyclists first and foremost were disgraced because they don't have football-like-lobby. Ferrari and Italy. Even we had players - Emre - who liked to take a stop in Italy before turning up in Turkey for an international match. Germany.... you have Müller Wohlfahrt - one of the best doctors in the business, close friend to Fuentes btw - who actually is well known (and critisised) for injecting Actovegin. Most recently he was able to get Neuer, Lahm and Schweinsteiger fit for the World Cup which no one believed was do-able. But no evidence is given against him - for me it just stands out that he's a close friend to Fuentes. But doping is there in football probably more now than it's in cycling these days. The testing in football is worse than it was in the 1995 in cycling - fact.

Not really? Edit: Ah, it's Souness

He'll get them 3rd or 2nd I suppose.

Three trophies and a CL runners up medal in the two years he was at Bayern. Poor them. Well, Bayern supporters. Says it all. Still, im interested to see how that pans out. Can't see it, really can't see it going well for too long. He already feels he's bigger than the club. It won't work for too long.
-
3-5-2 of course, most famously used in the 1980s by Carlos Bilardo's Argentina.... You've got Luis Van Gaal as manager now. That's only the beginning of big fuck ups to come. Everyone gets so excited because he did well at the World Cup. Well, he did. Just ask Bayern Munich supporters they'll all be laughing that he's now managing Man Utd. They still remember the famous "Tannenbaum formation".

I think Santon would make a good right wing-back.
-
It'll be more like our traditional 4-6-0 which can be converted to a 6-4-0 if we don't get a "grip on the game".

Well from seeing the pictrues it wasn't Hatem in good shape. But, like many said that time, it's not problem to get rid of that bit of extra weight in let's say one or two weeks of (pre-season) training.
-
Not the best picture to be able to tell, is it Not from his body but if you have a look at his face, he really seems to have lost a bit of weight quickly enough. Good work Hatem. I remember when Barton was training on his own (when he ended up leaving for QPR on a free) and still played for us in the opening two games. This time it's not the club vs the player, it's just Pardew probably. Maybe Hatem can turn things around.

Why Man City when there are 6 more friendlies to come?

Bayern only sell 10,000 season tickets? Obviously there attendance is like 70k per week, I'd have thought they'd sell at least 40k as season tickets. They sell round 38.000 season tickets. And only one categorie - the one behind the goal on each side in the first tear - does indeed cost around those 104 pfound. Just check the details if you want http://www.fcbayern.de/de/tickets/jahreskarten/

Don't want to start any waves of rumours here or anything But, it had been suggested for quite a while that he indeed is (which I have no problems with whatsover). Was just an idea I had. Should add that I was seriously hungover while writing that in the morning, too.

Got a strange but very safe feeling that he's preparing to be the first player to be outing himself while still playing. "Imposible" to do while still captain of Germany. We'll have to wait and see but I suppose it's happening and it's not too far away.
-
Horrible news but it's horrible enough anyway. Sometimes it's disgusting to live in this world really....
-
It's far too early to make that claim. Yeah, have to agree with that. Too early too tell. We'll see, but I've got a good feeling for now. As I've said, sadly they won't be here for that long if they turn out to be really good.
-
Agreed, 2 unproven premiership players are far better than one who is proven to be class. Not really important how "good" the business is we've just done as it's all over for them in a few years time anyway. Thing is, Debuchy hasn't played as well as he can for us in his time here. To get two players effectively in for him isn't too bad.
-
I'm sure the most experienced player in the team will cope with Oldham like. I agree but the message he's sending is not very good imo. "So I know you just arrived, but you're the only captain-material player that I can think of." "What ?- Yeah I know I've coached them for 3 years now and fought a relegation battle with them... What is your point Sim De Yang ?" He's been apointed vice-captain, so it's only logical that he's captain today.
-
He's a really good guy, that tweet just confirmes this again. Limited footballer, though. Wouldn't want him near our first XI. Having him on the bench and in for some Cup games is ok imo.

You're more of an England fan than a Germany fan, aren't you? Yeah, sure. Was supporting Germany in the final but I didn't go crazy or anything. Still, great scenes all over the country and nice to see Löw proving his critics wrong. Are you German though? Doesn't make any sense really, if you're German why would you support England? Yes I am. Well, no I suppose it doesn't really make sense tbf. Thing is, I don't care as much about international football as I do about club football. (Attending games etc..) - I just love watching the games. At the World Cup (or EURO) I started supporting England a bit which obviosuly came through supporting Newcastle more than 10 years back. But as I said, it's not a "hardcore super fan" thing or something.

German team arrived home and now driving through Berlin with an open-top bus. Incredible scenes.

At least we have an exciting transfer window. Hope the players will last the season before turning shit or getting sold.
