  1. interesting point considering there was no aggression whatsoever in the challenge
  2. he seems a better 'reactor' than pardew, in the sense i think he's getting things wrong and can see where it's wrong and change it properly whereas pardle would get things wrong and put 3 left backs on to sort it just hope he stops getting shit wrong soon
  3. get f***ed man, seriously he's not moving when it happens, this is madness, i'm out, everyone has lost their f***ing minds...watch cazorla...he's laughing about it because he's knows it was f***ing stupid I'm not denying that it's a stupid rule, but it's the rule, so it's a red. I really don't see how anyone can argue against that. Don't think it was particularly dangerous, but it was a red card. watch the replay on video, he's hardly moving, has no momentum and no intent to hurt the lad...he misses the ball and the moment he makes contact pulls his foot out then carries on like nothing happened, because it didn't But when your studs make contact with another player and you are both going in for a challenge it doesn't take a whole lot of momentum to do some damage, even a graze can cause a nasty gash. I'm sure you must know this. as is every header that two people go up for and so on...he did very, very little wrong except perhaps not notice how bias the ref was going to be the moment he booked sissoko you can peddle the dangerous bollocks all you want but we all know it wasn't, "dangerous" isn't there to stop you getting a scratch or some stud marks, it's there to stop a broken leg and mitro's challenge was not even close to being near that If you think he's done nowt wrong there, then I hope you enjoy watching him sitting in the stands, because if he keeps missing tackles he's going to see a lot more cards. watch cazorla laughing about how bad a decision it was mate, should tell you all you need to know i'm not saying it a 4th fucking time
  4. What did he say? 'the player did well to get up, I don't know how he's still walking after the reaction he gave' get in
  5. i'm his biggest critic but i thought prior to the sending off we saw his best game (or the best of him) today when he was pressing and harrying their midfielders when they had the ball bit like manyoo when we switched up he pressed very well but after the sending off he was back to being on the back foot and that's not his thing imo
  6. and i'll say it again, watch cazorlas face if you want to see how much of a red card it was

  8. Holy shit Puncheon's 29? I thought he was 21 or something. wonder how often pardew refers to them as young players in his speeches and it's now become fact
  9. Agreed in full, however its a damn shame the letter of the law is fully applied to us yet favourable teams get away with it game on game. Its the consistency that annoys me. The ref today was spot on apart from the pen and the colo booking. Also he was booking our players for every niggly foul and letting arsenal ones slide. So I would hardly call him spot on like, even if the Mitrovic decision can't really be argued. Anita was booked for niggly fouls, he made 4 of them up to the booking. Don't think you could say that about any others. exactly, even if i agreed with the mitrovic decision he still had a fucking awful game in terms of consistency you can't just throw yourself to the ground and get free kicks like, that was their gameplan from the start and obviously AW is smart enough to know a malleable ref when he see's one

  11. not when it makes the wrongly sent off player look like a fucking murderer to prove some kind of point it's not You were the one who was looking for an image in a previous post so I found one and uploaded it! don't think i was, iirc i think i said i'd like to see it again and i watched a video where it looks as innocuous as it was at the time
  12. how many left backs does pardew have on the bench? can he rescue this?
  13. so he's had 5 red cards since playing football as a professional since the age of 17 and he's now 20 stone him 5 in 3 years is a lot for a striker tbf. His ref card today was soft but he needs to calm down his tackling in general his first season was 2011-2012 actually so this is now his 5th season as a professional and he's running at 1 per season this one was turboballs so lets call it 4 at best
  14. here we go. that took long. makes me sick man, 20 fucking years old trying his heart out and this is what he gets for being erroneously sent off
  15. would just like to reiterate what i said in the other games today thread that this is the worst i've seen chelsea for years and it's classic pardew to luck out this way they're just organised, chelsea are beating themselves
  16. so he's had 5 red cards since playing football as a professional since the age of 17 and he's now 20 stone him
  17. this is what i think happened aye
  18. that's better than i've been saying it, there was no force, no momentum, he just landed where he landed and took his foot away the moment he realised the ball had gone dangerous though
  19. what's happening at the moment? his distribution looks better than it's been for years and every game he's pulled off at least 1-2 game changing saves but he's playing under par for parrying shots that don't lead directly to goals? people have lost their shit
  20. I'm not disputing that, most the yellows were completely absurd, and the red imo was not a red but just think that those are given sometimes, it's just ultra pedantic centre of attention reffing soo......
  21. not when it makes the wrongly sent off player look like a fucking murderer to prove some kind of point it's not
  22. just checked and 7 of our 10 outfield players were given yellow or red cards if you watched that game think that's remotely correct you need to find a new sport to follow tbf
