swear to god the fucking cheek of these cunts weren't they asked at one of their sham meetings about the relationship between SD and NUFC and Ashley smirked and said it was beneficial for SD or something? now some fucker calls them out on it and they act all hurt want nothing more than Ashley to burn personally, to see that cunt fall from his perch would be glorious

Football's greatest - where does Lionel Messi rank?
mrmojorisin75 replied to Dave's topic in Football
Why would anyone that prefers Messi discredit stats when Messi's are better? I think this cuts to the heart of the debate tbh - Ronaldo is seen as a goalscorer first and foremost, despite having very good assist numbers. Messi more than matches Ronaldo's goal statistics but is also probably the best number 10 in the world and can run and control a game as a playmaker, which Ronaldo simply cannot do. That's it right there. -
meh - he'll probably be binned (demoted not fired to avoid the payoff) and used as the scapegoat for this season, the same way Kinnear was when he was to blame for Pardew being fucking shite

Fuck you on about froggy? They both score mountains of fucking goals, Messi more than Ronaldo for a lot of their careers unless I'm mistaken? The point was about why people consider Messi the much better player and I was saying if you ignored the goals and looked at the rest of their game you'd see why. I mean you could never split them on goals, Ronaldo scores 65 and Messi 63 in a season or whatever...there's nothing between them there -

Nah, he actually is a far better footballer than CRonaldo. exactly, if you took goals out of it and watched clips of their assists and key passes it'd be rather illuminating I reckon nothing wrong with ronaldos game, he's a fucking machine, but messi is unquestionably the superior footballer -

Gerrard has more goals and assists than Xavi, stats mean absolutely fuck all. Also most of Ronaldo's assists are fifa style cutbacks it doesn't mean he's some brilliant creator, also I already said he's comparable to Messi in the goalscoring stakes. But Messi superior in most other categories, the eye test proves that and I don't really have time to debate with someone who compares the two simply on raw stats. not quite for the bit in bold but the bit that follows is spot on...messi's assists are often top class passes that split through teams, some of the passes he makes are fucking ludicrous tbh this is why he's comfortably the better of the two imho -
surely we can sell him to palace?

footballers always 'sometimes' do things they shouldn't the hba thing was always an argument between he's greedy and trying to do it all himself and 9 other players standing still in straight lines whenever he got the ball meaning he had to try to do it all himself the reality is somewhere in the middle but much closer to the standing still bit imo cabella is suffering from the same thing, if he's *just* weak why weren't terry, matic and cahill just knocking him off the ball instead of chasing his shadow for 45 minutes?
-
I came in to post this (more or less) in response to ronaldos latest proclamation that cabella isn't physically up to it...I was wondering how he was ghosting past the Chelsea midfield and defence looking every bit a 15m player in one of the only games under carver where the team played with confidence and movement, for a half it's ben arfa all over again ffs...declare the player incapable in a team that is completely disfunctional cabella will be a good player with movement around him, no doubt in my mind

the fact they didn't stop you is your answer

going down should be the last resort as at least if you're in it and trying to compete you have a theoretical advantage over 72 other clubs to be able to try and win a cup, something we should never turn our nose up at I reckon going down somehow feels like the best thing for the club in its present state mind, it need decimating and rebuilding regardless of the division

we're pulling a UKIP we need moar jak colbacs to succeed
-
don't like this zombie club reference that seems to be catching on we're in a self-induced coma to allow a parasite to feed on us, granted it's not quite as catchy
-
bloke I just met on the job pulled the "shit French players" line with me yesterday, I could barely fucking contain myself
-
looking at those fixtures properly you'd have to think it's between hull and sunderland for the last spot, assuming Leicester can beat us (which they will)
-
riviere was 4m wasn't he? he's played under a defensively minded fuckwit and now a clueless fraud...there's every chance that he would be a decent 4m level signing under anything approximating good management
-
They'll probably roll out that plane again to try to cheer themselves up when they are relegated. just saw that as well, if they don't get some points in the next 3 games they might well drop eh
-
I'd be very surprised if we're getting his first, second or even third choices. aye this is it like
-
he's started losing games and making his usual fuckups now, time to bring in people who managed to hide his failures successfully over the last 4 years

What about when it's the other way around? Plenty of match-goers who are/were unhappy and voiced their opinion were given plenty of abuse for doing so. Anyone who still chooses to go has no drive to really get rid of Ashley and make a change, and the players/manager certainly aren't worthy of the support they're still getting. 7 fucking defeats in a row man ffs.

Unsurprisingly standing up and making noise for 60 seconds was too much hard work for our superfans. At least there was a sizable number who did but was a bit too similar to Hull. So many deserve what they get with this pathetic club A lot of fans didn't know about this and id say most who did stood up and it was fairly loud. How did they not know? Its not exactly a covert operation this ashleyout thing. Every newspaper and radio station has covered it at some point. Giving people far too much credit for their naive stupidity I was there today and had to explain what it was about. Those who knew did their best. I spoke to fans who were their against Spurs who said they were shouted down as Scabs on Sunday. We should be better than that. if you were in any way aware of the events of the spurs game and then didn't follow that up to see what ashleyout was and what else was planned from the various groups then you're either a f***ing idiot or of a generation who still get their papers delivered sick of the excuses made for our fans personally, absolute f***ing idiots We still need 3 points to stay up so I went today. I stayed away against Spurs. There's loads of people on here taking the high ground who don't/ can't go regardless. The club only will survive by those who do or could go. People should stop having a go at them. Charvers shouting scab serves no purpose, fans did protest in the ground today, Stewards were confiscating leaflets. Don't in fight. How is the club going to be saved by the people who continue to keep piling money into his pockets? need the 'definition of insanity' quote on repeat man

Great call, you nailed it on the head. what was said? Stuck the knife in - said that I believe we are destined for relegation, Carver is a loser and needs to walk. Club captain has a heart the size of a pea and that resonates throughout the team. Also said it Carver had any dignity, he'd walk tonight. Ando countered by saying that who would come in to manage for 5 games? Also said that if we do go down, then Ashley will deserve it as will the match going fans. holy FUCKING shit to the bit in bold top stuff BG, totally agree with you

I respectfully disagree, we're reaching the point (in fact have probably well passed it) where these people are now our major problem in getting some form of change because they legitimise everything by turning up and/or doing absolutely fucking nothing but plough cash into the club it's sad to say but maybe they need engaging, not in-fighting doesn't seem to inspire them, so maybe being called out and educated (for want of a better word) might helf
