  1. He started the season really well for them iirc. I'd probably take him as a short term Tiote replacement. unless he's totally lost he'd surely be a step up on tiote and others in our midfield like, suppose i'd prefer abeid to be a starter personally but he seems to be a perma-crock like so we'd not be able to rely on him even assuming the fuckwits in charge of the club don't ship him out
  2. would anyone take flamini on a free from arsenal? not seen that much of him this season but always rated him in his early days
  3. starting to think he might be fucking class!
  4. staggering stuff really
  5. yeah not seen a bad kit by NB yet
  6. god without the wonga that's an amazing shirt
  7. I'm in this camp. There's no way Leo Messi was "disinterested" or "not arsed" in the World Cup final. I get the point, but I'd always look for another explanation before accusing him of that. He goes into every single game in a season desperate for goals, I can't buy that he decided not to bother in the biggest game of his life. He looked out of it for big parts of that season tbh, as has been said. The whole Argentina set up didn't help him but he wasn't right, not a chance.

Just noticed the last line of his quote there, the backing of Mike and Lee is enough. Good stuff from the lad bleeding black and white that he doesn't give a fuck that +90% of fans think he's shite
  9. That fucking fall. Can't stop laughing. Really though he's faced the best player in the world and might have looked an arse but he's done a lot right, as much as he could clearly in turning Messi onto his other foot and into Neuers path. Just didn't matter. So good.
  10. That second goal last night man, fucking hell. He might have dumped Boateng on his arse but at least Boateng succeeded in putting him on his 'wrong' foot with Neuer to face. Didn't matter a fuck Love Messi, as someone else has said watching him when I can is about the only enjoyment I get from football nowadays. He's so good I always want Barca to win because I feel like he should never be on the losing team.
  11. thing is, if it's to be relegation we need a total and utter implosion and another relegation after that really to see the back of this prick if it came down to one relegation and bounce straight back up again then it'd be a waste of time and i wouldn't want that like
  12. Bang on about the shit in the stands mind. Our lot have had more than enough chances to kick up shit but don't care enough. Club is fucking rotten through. Staying up only prolongs the rot.
  13. yeah, everyone concerned with the club deserves it our place would be better off with a club that gives a fuck
  14. How will it be better is we stay up? I guess my perspective is based entirely on hope rather than expectation but surely the likelihood for Ashley finding a buying for a club with a £250m personal debt owed to him will be far more likely if we're a Premier League club? Is it even possible anyone would be crazy enough to buy us in that situation if we're stuck in the Championship or potentially worse? Does anyone really want to be watching us in the Championship also? It worked wonders for us last time and I enjoyed it but that was probably exclusively because we won almost every game. There's no guarantee we'd come back up first time or even how bad it could be for us if we go down. We're already being widely ridiculed as a club from top to bottom, getting relegated is only going to make us look like bigger bellends for everyone to scoff at. For me if we stay up there's still hope things could be fixed, I don't see how going down would solve anything. we lose almost every fucking game we play now, what does it matter?
  15. ahhh didn't get that at all, now i see like the chelsea fan, "when will something go right for us?

Been out of comms for a few hours, have the club made an announcement he's staying? Fucking ludicrous

fucking hell is that tim healey?
  18. imagine the fee we'll demand for Williamson man
  19. It's not like. Ashley is here to make money. If he doesn't make money here, he's mroe likely to leave. It's only the TV money and player sales making us profitable. There's maybe 2 players we could get 10m+ for. A couple more 5-10m. by your own logic he's well out of pocket in direct terms on NUFC, if the club go down why would he sell the club for anything less than the ~250m he's presently shelled out? no-one will buy the club for that sort of money in the championship so the most likely scenario is he'd run the club on a shoestring trying to get the club back up

dream for Ashley right there, no payoff required...stone will be pushed into the managers job until he breaks, then woodman, then we might get a proper manager and coaching staff
