one thing i'd totally and utterly forgotten about yesterday was the fact that it was sunderlands 4th game in 11 days (inc. 120 mins vs. manyoo) and our 2nd in the same period honestly man, the level of failure this man displays is fucking staggering
-
yep, we've seen what a bad run and pardew's direct football style looks like in the past haven't we? good times
-
i was wondering about this tbh, looks like it might be a grim end to the season really if so can only hope it ends up being bad enough to see him sacked
-
still in 8th place man, he's going no-fucking-where i'm off to kip now, with a bit of luck i'll br totally wrong about this
-
while your not wrong how different an atmosphere might it have been if some kind of replacement for cabaye had been gotten. As it is though the entire squad know the plan from the top is to muddle on to the end of the season no ambition to even try to get a cl place. That by itself has to be fairly demoralizing for everyone What exactly do you think Alan Pardew's job is, out of interest?
-
Love him but he was poor in the first half. In his defence look at the fucking gameplan in the first half
-
Where are the 'we're 8th in the table, what are you complaining about?' dummies now?
-
fucking exactly He does everything wrong. Keeps Ameobi on all game, has Santon wasting every set piece, he's worse than shit. Yep. Not one thing right in 90 minutes of football. Diabolical.
-
fucking exactly
-
he'll slime out of it all 'cause of cabaye, even people like caulkin are buying his fucking bollocks and saying it's all 'cause cabaye left The general consensus will be to put the blame on Ashley and ignore what's gone on here today. Yes we had a weakened team, but the decision to build a strategy of hoofing it to Shola is down to one man only. yes, this defeat is down to one man and one man only - his job is to adpat the side to losing cabaye in any circumstances (injury etc.) not just fucking roll over 'cause the dreamboat leaves cunt of a man

what a fucking shock, absolutely everything wrong everything needs sacking
-
how unfit can this lad be for fucks sake? sounds like bullshit, he simply hasn't had enough time for pardew to sit him down with the dossier and explain his defensive duties in enough detail
-
hope he disproves me but i can see very little other than him getting absolutely everything wrong today unfortunately

pinebarrens can see what he's driving at in a way but fucks sake -
really hope he chooses today to send a message to pardew like, we need someone to
-
beat the mackems and everyone will be happy, if we lose it really does stand a chance of turning nasty (i'd like to think)
-
only thing i can think about holtby is, spurs being spurs, they're demanding a daft loan fee 'cause they know various teams are desperate
-
It's not really a myth when they've said though is it? They've said priority is the league, not the cups. That doesn't mean to say they are ordering Pardew to throw away matches in the cup. We gave Man City and Benfica very good games and you could see the effort was there from the players. To say we didn't give it a go and weren't interested in winning is nonsense. Who at St James' after 70 minutes against Cardiff thought we were going out? Looked like we were in the hat for the next round until Eliot had a mare. you can't have it both ways brett; when we perform shite in the league and get points you point to the league table, in the cardiff case you state we went out but apparently performed well so that's ok which is it?
-
i actually understand this to an extent, the difference with us is that good managers use it as an opportunity to get the fringe players to prove something instead of sending them out as lambs to the slaughter for mikes balance sheet we can't play the same 11 players in every single match, change is to be expected, it should never be used as a default excuse not to try winning games
-
would also say in relation to ronaldo's point it's only time in my period watching nufc and indeed football that we, or indeed anyone, actively don't bother to compete in competitions it's not just about signings, you could forgive that if they were putting in everything on the pitch tbh but watch that fucking car salesman oversee limp exit after limp exit in the cups because it tires us out is sickening, it's just about broke me now and pardew is complicit in it all
-
the lad said he was talking to pardew yesterday joe's probably told pardew the transfer is on the verge
