  1. eh, we're 6 points off top aren't we? Yeah. Where would they be without a loss to Sunderland, 0-0 against Palace, Cardiff & West Brom. Failing to score against those 4 with the players he has is not top class is it? You can find their & his faults as we do with Pards. Its easier to ignore them when you focus on the good that you see. no sorry, tell me how everton should be far and awayy from us when man city, arsenal, chelsea etc. aren't please Eh? I just explained it to you You havent contradicted me, you're just stating that other clubs/managers have had their issues to - which i fully agree with. why should i be contradicting you? you said they should be far and away from us, i'm wondering how you came to that conclusion If Martinez is that much better than Pardew, he should be doing better than Pardew? Theres 1 point difference, its all well and good predicting how long that will last but at the moment they are getting equal levels of results & are respected at very different levels on here. Just as you can find Pardews faults, you can find Martinez's. All managers have issues. Man City's manager cannot get them motivated for away games, Jose sent away their best striker & then moans about lack of striking options when he barely gives Ba a proven prem striker a chance, Martinez is not getting the best from Lukaku. Our manager takes off Anita whos absolutely mint & is overly negative in 2nd halves etc. you're repeating yourself, martinez took over at a new club 5 months ago, drafted in half a new team and is within a point or so of pardew read into that what you f***ing will Martinez took over a side who sit around that level consistantly anyway & has a better side at his disposal. Ive no problem repeating myself if you keep responding as if you're confused mate. in what way am i confused?
  2. full quote for you brett, you seem to have chopped some unfortunately, you might want to watch that

  4. brett misquoting again by the way, i never said pardew makes it easy for other managers

  6. what helps you laughing boy, "uncomfortable performances"?

  8. Aye when things like 'Pardew makes it so fucking easy for opposition managers' comes along. Piss take. Results have suggested otherwise and the league table is looking lovely yet people are still trying shoot him down. Pathetic. jesus christ dude, we know results have been good - as they were when we finished 5th - the point is performances have not (at home) and this will catch us up again can you please deal with this premise brett? why don't you fucking try that, deal with that...talk about it like someone who understands football and tell me how struggling in almost every home game is ever going to lead to success in the long term and by the way, that's shit performances with pretty much an entire first team squad available for the season so far...
  9. well, i didn't know this happened...however did that class as "doing him"? if so i was playing in the wrong sunday league
  10. right, point is though that (unless something has changed) refs take that into account when issuing a second yellow...he kicked the back of cabayes legs when they were both stood next to each other, it's barely a first yellow nevermind second agree with the "fuck them" thing mind, what goes around etc....let's just not ignore how soft it was and how much it saved our skin
  11. So easy that only one manager has managed to take 3 points from SJP... ok brett, ok then, everything's fine then
  12. what so saying something now counts in an innocuous foul? 'cause that's what it was like, it was fuck all There was no attempt to play the ball. Thick as fuck on a yellow card. wasn't worthy of a second yellow, sorry like it just wasn't
  13. don't agree with how bad it was, they were both more or less standing still, it's not like he went through cabaye or anything
  14. what so saying something now counts in an innocuous foul? 'cause that's what it was like, it was fuck all
  15. eh, we're 6 points off top aren't we?
  16. was a weak as fucking piss sending off tbh....wonder how many fouls he had between the first yellow and second - only justification for it is if it was a 5th foul or something
  17. Imagine if we had a manager who could work on a new style of play, come to the game and it not epically fail though? That would be class. That's all I want i dunno man, as i said in my last post he's doing well overall and not many teams will want to play us as the away team at the moment he simply does not know how to break teams down at home though, it must be so fucking easy for the opposition manager
  18. precisely...as i said, it's a genuine question for those in pardew's corner - how often does he honestly get it right vs. 'lower' teams at home? what i see is they turn up with a very basic gameplan and we huff and puff to break it down every single time he certainly seems to be able to set them up to play away from home at the moment though, deserves a lot of credit for that
  19. He can't physically play for the players, if the players are struggling why's it the manager to blame. He thought that formation would work at home with Ben Arfa back, it didn't and he admitted after the game things were getting changed at half time. Luckily everything was made sweet by Stoke so the team talk was made a lot easier. At least we know not to try that again afainst Arsenal and get back to 4-4-2. even the commentators were wondering why we weren't getting people in the box when we did get forward prior to the sendings off brett, we had debuchy killing himself to get down the line and put a ball in and there was only remy vs. the entire stoke defence, for example it's not as simple as 'formation' and see what happens, perhaps this is why he gets consistently outwitted at home adam was tearing us to shreds well before they scored, sissoko was doing absolutely fucking nothing...any manager worth his salt would have put sissoko on adam and shut him down 'til half time
  20. is that martinez who only joined the club in the summer and signed X amount of new players on loans and such to supplement a limited squad? vs. pardew with his 3 years and settled squad? all depends how you look at it i suppose
  21. i too thought it was the right lineup Brett, but there's a difference between picking the right 11 players and getting it to work, jesus first half was hull all over again, hughes had him by the tactical bollocks...he saw a chink and got adam to exploit it to very good effect, answer from AP? sweet fuck all until the sendings off sorry like, i know we all love the guy now but i'm fucked if i'm ignoring what's in front of my eyes
  22. http://s2.quickmeme.com/img/74/74a16d5a916209bee9fde1698778a53dbb5d2e364a47533a71daaa22e52e1bdf.jpg
  23. Those Charlie Adam 30 yarders were going to fly in second half weren't they... what do you see with your eyes brett? I saw a manager change to a formation we haven't been playing at home, look out of sorts in adapting to it and in need of a re-shuffle. Major surgery wasn't needed, just a change in formation and maybe a change of personel at half time if we were still getting beat. Obviously nobody knows how the game would have panned out but even when we went one down i was confident we could still turn it around. Stoke just basically threw us the 3 points instead. How many times does he 'get it wrong' at home when faced with teams who are not in the top echelons of the league? In fact, a better question is how many times does he get it right?

  25. no way we win that without the sendings off like, i'm sorry, it's like some people just haven't been paying attention for the last 3 years
