  1. it works as a thread for me if parky clearly predicts how he thinks they're going to fail and is awarded points for the accuracy of his predictions, he should be allowed to include scandals and Suarez-related nonsense as they add to the circus
  2. which, of course, pardew has talked up since he came to the club and has never achieved maybe last year was the tipping point for him and the players have had a word and got him to see that balance is the key, i really really hope so
  3. well yeah, it is of course regardless of style of play...the mackems laughed us off the pitched with nothing other than fitness and organisation just saying it was an obvious move for the man, rather than look to address the fact that his teams can't play decent attacking football, shit like that
  4. this news has settled in now and it's not that surprising really when you think about it, if i had to guess what pardew would come up with as solutions to last seasons shit then i'd have gone with fitness and organisation nowt else
  5. hopefully the remy news see's the end of this story, push gomis through and we're looking in considerably better shape for the season

Surely we would have lawyers who have seen details of the case and have a pretty good idea ourselves?

We've gotten around that with the loan. A footballing reason, perhaps? yep, pardewball

yep, looking forward to watching the 2 new strikers we've signed worry about what the opposition can do to us and defend from the front
  9. just going what i saw of him in a shite team last year, wouldn't be starting him over santon myself but if we were forced to play him and the team itself was in decent shape and playing relatively well then i'd not have any major concerns he's 20 isn't he? gonna make mistakes, especially when our coaching doesn't appear to consist of anything whatsoever
  10. Thats our transfer policy in high heels. right!!! it got me real good man
  11. nah i know all that man, i just didn't think saying it hasn't increased was quite accurate as it has, it's just a misconception about when it's paid...swansea and norwich are the prime example of teams clearly using that money now, wherever they're getting it from at the moment it's leveraged against what's to come oh and no chance for me for a couple of weeks yet dude, despite being surrounded by it

    was just kidding man
  13. You really want to start one of these stupid semantic arguments? We're talking about the Premier League money effecting our finances, the money we last recieved from the Premier League was not an increased amount, it was from the last 3 year deal. Is that ok with you are should we witter on about when exactly we should consider something to have increased before eventually giving up in a page or so? not at all, i think the point you're missing is that if you start 2013/2014 season in the PL then you'll be due your cut of the increased money whether you stay up or not, therefore people were expecting as that is guaranteed the club might consider spending it in advance on actual football players certainly what i'd have liked to have seen btw, get fucked being so arsey about nowt

Yes, probably a trial around Christmas/January if they go ahead with it. he'd be worth 2m then really, assuming he was found guilty he could appeal and drag it out to the end of the season then they can do what they like with him
  15. so it increases this coming season then? you said "tv money hasn't increased" so it was somewhat misleading, assuming payments are made at the end of a season then in effect they have increased haven't they
  16. weird, there was such a song and dance made during the relegation battles and promotion race this season about being in the PL for the increased money

september they decide if to go to court no?
  18. such as how we get from us offering OL a bag of beer bottle tops and joe's Guinness beermat collection to their 10m euro valuation, details like that?
  19. He might just be applying the general principle of reducing the debt in the business and getting some sort of return on investment. Just because he doesn't personally need money, I don't think those principles disappear completely. he's a cunt ian get on the bandwagon, it's so much easier, you'll like it over here on the bandwagon
