mackem at work ( ) lost a bet with me - 100 quid for whoever finishes top and i remembered about it yesterday: "season's not over yet"
-
22 PL games (19 starts), 5 goals and 2 assists mclean 25 PL games (15 starts) 5 goals and 5 assists hba aye, mclean really has been tearing it up hasn't he? same goals and assists as HBA in 4 more starting appearances

i wonder what they'll do if the investigation that's ongoing atm comes out and 100% blames the police, then the police come out and aplogise for their actions and the deaths of supporters i mean surely the only thing that's keeping them going with the 96 thing is perceived injustice right? clearly none of it will ever happen so let's get a bet on the club being renamed 'Liverpool 96'
-
i'm amazed the FA would even let them away with that man it's fucking outrageous
-
what's that catch 22 mackem logic from rtg again? don't qualify for europe this season as it'll impede the challenge for europe next season?
-
european place again next season should be the target fucking cup run and all, bout time we had another run really
-
i fucking love how they're hung up on tiote falling down, like sessegnon actually hurt him

the fuck would anyone want spurs to finish ahead of arsenal? -
who are the best crossers of the ball from FB, walker & cole? that'd be my gameplan, ox and johnson to do the tricky winger shit backed up by fullbacks who can whip the ball onto carroll's napper
-
hart walker lescott cahill cole parker lampard barry* oxlade johnson carroll *cleverly or whoever else if fit preferably however fucked if i know when rooney returns i'd play the same system but with parker & lampard together and rooney supporting the striker honestly think englands only chance is to go with a gameplan and stick to it; look to keep it tight, use carroll and try to support him with pace out wide and crosses on his napper when possible if we go and try to play these teams we'll get detroyed

would take that stoke template any day over the impending spikes of doom we're about to have inflicted on us
-
If those figures were correct (they are guess work) that isn't actually that bad a deal, would have paid for itself within 10 years. aye, if filled week in week out...big ask tbh

Since mid Jan all apart from Norwich have been pretty much sold out or near enough. Wolves - 52,287 Mackems - 52,388 Liverpool - 52,363 Bolton - 52,264 Stoke - 52,162 Man City - 52,389 Add in Chelsea - 52, 305 and Man United - 52,289 and almost half of home games have been near enough a sell out in normal areas of the ground. If we keep improving and stay at this end of the table then expansion would make sense. maybe, is it cheap to build shit in the economy at the moment? that's about the only way i could see it justified...6,000 seats * 500GBP per seat per season = 3,000,000 per season extra on a very basic level, 10,000 extra = 5,000,000 say...would all depend what it costs to build surely? can't see ashley gambling on that personally

it begins...prepare for a long summer of shite, redknapps mates will no doubt be at it and all

This is my problem. Would feel like damaged goods to me. Like having a girlfriend that ditched you for the resident scumbag of your area, realising what she was missing and coming back with a bucket. Stay there, slut. what's the fucking bucket for?
-
that Stokoe statue should always be the yardstick anyone got the link to that thread where it's been photoshopped into loads of different situations?
-
he's british, had a good season and swansea didn't get relegated so anything between 7m - 15m probably
-
presume it's based on a picture, anyone got it?

three defenders thing was noticeable and to me i was saying from fairly early on i'd have moved him to the left to try and get crosses in looked to me like he knew clichy had him beat for pace and the other defenders were preventing him doing anything tricky and cutting inside, i think we'd have been better served if he'd looked to make a yard and whip a cross in for cisse to try and get in on between the defence and keeper, an area we barely exploited at all yesterday
