Being knocked out twice in games where ManUre players were sent off for petty retaliation doesn't help. When it comes to big games, the margins are fine. that stat right? that can't be fucking right surely
-
He ballsed up both WC10 and Euro12. right, forgot the WO10 one...think he went a step too far with his taking average/shit teams to success thing, after he got russia to the semis in 08 he should have tried to move to a more stable job with better players and actually try to win a tournament aside from mourinho there's noone i'd want to see more in the job (assuming the end game is to succeed and not fail bravely again and again)

It feels like they're going down the Shepherd route. One appointment doesn't work so they attempt to go for the complete opposite to try and rectify the 'problems'. i don't mind if they go british long term, fine get on with it, but redknapp and/or pearce would not be the right move at this time - timing is the key for me pointless anyway, as has been said they're going all shepherd for sure imo, it'll be a brit
-
2? there's literally no-one more qualified to take the job for a major tournament at the stage in the proceedings
-
madness to look for anyone but hiddink for this upcoming tournament, still the fa don't seem to get tired of bad choices and repeat failure so yeah pearce & redknapp why not?
-
with the movement this guy seems to have i'd love to see cabaye and hba looking for him with the ball at their feet!
-
that whole post
-
interesting comparison that, if it's to stand up then pards is going to have to stick with him through the good and bad at some point to date he seems very unwilling to do that
-
sincerely hope you're right and i'm very, very wrong
-
you think pardew will find a place for him permanently then? he strikes me more of a meat and drink 2 strikers and 2 hard working wingers type
-
not basing it on stats alone, basing it on pardew and his past history with flair players plus how he's handled hba vs. obertan to this point hope i'm wrong but i don't think pardew will be able to successfully integrate him into his side...pardew does not seem to have much room for flair on a consistent basis imo
-
it's becoming painfully clear that it's just not gonna work out for hba here isn't it?
-
everyone has lost their minds over this whole thing, including the anti-liverpool brigade imo all sense of perspective went out the window ages back on both sides Don't really see how that relates to what I'm saying unless you're proposing I've lost my mind? maybe i've lost my mind

what? I think what he's getting at is Liverpool's disgusting way of handling it has basically told the even more retarded than usual section of Liverpool support that it's okay to do things like that prick up there in the picture. Through the t shirts, the conspiracy theories, the persecution complex, they're essentially telling the fans that they can do whatever they want and expect that they shouldn't get in trouble. And that's what's pissed me off the most about this. Liverpool's non-action towards their own player's racism has effectively opened the floodgates. Let's not forget shit like Twitter warriors 'facing' up to Collymore since this. Such a disgusting club, one of the few I would genuinely smile at if it ever went over. Fuck the club, fuck the fans. yeah i knew what he meant wormy, it's just a load of shite

who the fuck is the flamer stood next to colo?
-
then you're only talking about Tron then, 'cause i never said that, the opposite in fact
-
yeah, that's what i'm agreeing to - square pegs round holes man the quality of the footballers we have will get us so far with this approach and it's working, change the system to suit the players we have we could hit gold - and by gold i mean not being shat out of the cup by rubbish again for a starter
-
bothers me that you can't raise concerns about certain aspects of the manager without being a drooling window licker...how does not questioning anything ever lead to improvement in any walk of life? the answer is it doesn't point stands that replacing him would be crazy, however people really should probably by now acknowledge it won't matter who we buy in the next window the likelihood is this football is what we've got to look forward to, and it's going to be very limited indeed especially if we keep signing players that aren't cut out for it tiote, cabaye, colo, santon, hba, ba, cisse (assume), jonas, marveaux are all first team players who will thrive on playing better quality football, yet we're persistently twatting the ball up field to the big target man if you can't see or acknowledge this then you need to start watching another sport tbh
-
i don't know, what're we arguing about here? i'm not saying he's not done OK i'm saying that i feel his style of play is now holding us back along with some of his decisions, and has been for some time basically i'm certainly not counting the days 'til he's fired or whatever though, i just want him to wake the fuck up on certain aspects like shola, perch and the fact that we have the nucleus of what could be a quality footballing side
-
the three clubs you've named are massively under-achieving, that's partially what i meant by shit league - in reality we're punching it out with stoke, villa and the mackems etc. for the scraps of 7th...my point being that we could and should have had that spot more nailed down than it is given how influencial Ba has been up front and Colo at the back the overall shitness of the league in many ways masks that we're not as good as our play* suggests, imo EDIT: i meant position, clearly
-
the only thing wrong with what Tron is saying there is "counting down the days" but he's entitled to hold that view imo - what he says about pardew's method and style appears difficult to refute tbh, he doesn't seem to be moving us on in terms of style of play despite the resources at his disposal it's a shite league again this year, people need to remember that as well
