First Touch and technique are not one and the same you know. General technique over the ball can include control over it while dribbling, being able to manipulate the ball's flight, as well as the how well the player can make contact with the ball. First touch is what it says it is, how well the play utilises a first touch, this can be close control, or pushing the ball into space away from defenders to buy time. seriously i don't follow this shit so tell me; how much is the club in debt to ashley in interest free loans, and if the club is to break even within 5 years is that achievable without flogging off squad assets to pay ashley back? i might be wrong but i think this is what malandro is getting at, it's certainly what i'm most interested in anyways it does seem like absolute dreamland to think we could stay competitive, or indeed improve year on year on the pitch for the next 5 years and pay off 100m+ in loans if that's what they still are not directed just to Stu, to anyone who can answer really as for me if all investment in players comes from turnover and the club is paying say 20m a season to ashley we'll be looking at 5 years of trying to steal goslings from other clubs and pick up free's / disenchanted ben arfa types before we see any actual investment
