Can't disagree with that considering the stuff he's done this season, but under other managers he was never a cowardly player. Under Mourinho he's already picked up two reds, dived for a penalty and now elbowed someone. If you're going to tell me he's done this before then I'll gladly accept evidence. You can never disagrer with The Butcher of Ålgård, man. Especially on hardness. You go, Butcher of Ålgård.

Think Cardiff will stay up now, playing well and confidence growing. Will rape us.

£1300-ish up from just Stabæk bets so far. 2-0-1 this season. Perenially sentenced to certain relegation by "experts", Bob Bradley on the sidelines and good winter signings, they're not going down this season. Top half easily. That said, if I hadn't had such a big kitty from them I'd not have spunked the same amount. Odd are very good at drawing matches.

Deceptively good odds on Stabæk. 7.25.... http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130502190021/vampirediaries/images/0/00/Eyebrow_raise_community.gif ..... £125 FOR £906! http://media1.giphy.com/media/8fn9oF6IPZoEE/giphy.gif

I'm baffled about them always talking about it and it always being in the media. Also what's up with the "Justice for the 96" instead of "R.I.P to the 96"?, particularly around the anniversary. It's because the people of Liverpool have been campaigning for justice, in light of the injustice carried out by South Yorkshire police that day. It's in the media a lot, because 96 fans of the most successful club in English football, from one of the main cultural heartlands of the country died in a terrible crush. A crush which could have happened to any club at any time, and many fans around the time can tell story's of near misses. It has defined and shaped the culture of a major city and perhaps the rest of the country. An entire city no longer buys the largest selling newspaper. It's a campaign that has been backed by celebrities. On top of the large scale of death a light has been shown on to terrible police standards, corruption and collusion between the police, media and possibly even the government of the time. There is a time and place for the justice part, at a time when you should be remembering them at an anniversary shouldn't it be time to reflect on the fact that 96 people lost their lives and not the circumstances around it? How often do you see families of the Valley parade disaster asking for justice? There was just as many mistakes and different authorities to blame there for the people who died then as there is for Hillsbrough. Was there bollocks. Hillsborough and the injustice of it all will be traced right up to Thatcher's door. To think for a good 20 years it was pushed about that the whole disaster was down to Liverpool's supporters because of the Government of the day, South Yorkshire police and that Tory MP whose name I cannot recall is frankly disgusting. There was a cover up, no one can deny that but to say it went all the way up to Thatchers door and the whole of South Yorkshire police were involved, and also that it was the only reason why the disaster happened is wrong. Only a hand few of police officers will know what was happening at the time, other police officers around the ground will not know exactly what went on and will only being going by the accounts of those who were initially close to the Leppings end who were forced by those above them to alter their initial accounts. Anyone outside of these police officers will only know what happened by 'official' (I use the term official loosely) accounts, this includes MP's and Thatcher, what Irvine Patnick said to Thatcher and the press was wrong, no one can deny that. Even though cover up of the police's role in the disaster is disgusting there was other factors that equally contributed to it happening, this often gets forgotten about. My initial post was trying to get the point across that Liverpool fans seem to spent a lot of time focused on why 96 people died and not the actual fact that 96 people died. I used the Valley Parade disaster as comparison because although there was no cover up to explain why the disaster happened like Hillsborough a lot of things in the build up happened that should have happened which led to the disaster. For one the stand had already been condemned as unsafe (Bradford were actually pulling the stand down at the end of the season). There was no fire extinguishers around when there should have been. The rubbish beneath the stand should not have been allowed to build up and there had been reportedly been concerns of it being a fire risk raised previously. Lastly the turnstile exits had been locked shut, meaning fans had to go onto the pitch to escape when in a lot of cases using the exits would have been quicker. You can argue that the Bradford fans have also never found justice (I don't think you can ever really find justice in these types of circumstances) as no one has actually been held acceptable for these failings which lead to the disaster. Just two completely different scenarios, man. I generally hate Liverpool fans for their tendency to wallow in self pity, but the Hillsborough incident goes beyond that. The victims were painted as the villains in an incident that many foresaw and should've been avoided.

True, we should stick with the players we know are s*** instead of trying new ones who might be. My point was scoring goals in that league is not proof of being a good player. Ignoring his goals, he may still be playing well. He could come back here and play well. Ffs, he can't do any better! I f***ing hate that argument. What's the point in sending him then? What is so hard to understand with what I have said? He was sent to Greece to play regular football. He wasn't sent to Greece to score goals to earn a place in the NUFC team on his return. He could score a shed load of goals in Greece. That does not mean he will be great in the Premiership. It also doesn't mean he definitely won't be great in the Premiership. He may be a very good midfielder. The point is a lot of very mediocre players score plenty of goals in Greece. The point of loans (in theory, we suck at loans) is for the player to play at a level where they can succeed and better themselves, and then come back and either be loaned out to a higher level, play a part in the first team of their club or be seen as having made too little progress and be bumped off. Abeid have done very well in Greece, which is a league of a similar quality to the Dutch league for instance. Many players make the step up from those leagues to the bigger ones, and many fail. Abeid is at the level where he needs to either play a part for our team or just be sold to another team. He needs to be tried at the top level, and another loan won't do that, he'll just stagnate. Either he'll make it, or he won't, which he won't since upon return he'll be Pardewed all over again.

Nah, nah, no way they stay up. Nah, no way.

Crystal Palace on a roll, might still overtake us and push us out of the top ten.

Am I understanding TCD correctly in him saying Brazilians who've been out of Brazil for a few years will struggle to play in Brazil? What is this?
-
I, too, will not.

And Elliot could just as easily say the conversation never happened. That's hearsay. Guv knows exactly how the conversation went as he was involved in it, it's not hearsay unless I've completely got the meaning of the word confused. EDIT: I suppose it's hearsay to me or you like, but not to anyone actually involved in the conversation, to them it's either the truth or it isn't. Whatever that means

I take it that's the same blef that used to be on here? If it is then the comments make sense. More brain cells in a potato tbh. Fairly certain that's the one, yes.
-
Looking at their GD compared to the teams below them, means it'd take 7 points out of 12 for them to go down. And that's if they don't take one more point out of their four remaining matches. But fair enough, they could still go down. I'll add them.
-
'Cause they're safe. 1.9% chance of relegation according to the bookies, not worth including.

As I said to SanToon, if you don't consider the article to be journalism or the Mag to be a publication or publisher, than that's correct. I suppose it's difficult now with so many sites blurring the lines between blog/opinion and actual reporting. I would have rather argued about this point as I originally intended I would class it as more of a blog/opinion piece. If he was a journo it would be real bad form and he could probably get sued for libel due to lack of evidence. It's not though, so it's on the same scale as me using N-O as a place to say that Pardew is a fucking cunt.

The amusing thing here is how TheGuv has broken some journalistic code (which do exist, tbf) without even being a journalist.

Used to think Ian W was just a bit misguided, but man... http://gifstumblr.com/images/never-go-full-retard_1271.gif

Wish TheGuv was on some sort of sordid The Sun mission. When Elliot denies it, as he surely will, TheGuv could be all "but what about this audio and video recordings of you saying it, you lying cunt?"

"you let in 8 goals in 2 games id rather Ben Arfa played in goal instead of you" Getting some heat on twitter

Anyways, time to chase losses. £100 ON ROSENBORG & STRØMSGODSET http://s3-ec.buzzfed.com/static/2013-10/enhanced/webdr06/17/1/anigif_enhanced-buzz-29785-1381987493-11.gif
