  1. Forum party in Greece next weekend if this shit goes in.
  2. Our last home game of the season. Boo us, boo them, boo everything It'll be a horrific 0-0 draw. We'll hate Cardiff for being so shit, Solskjaer for being a loser, our players for being so toothless, and Pardew for being Pardew. Can't wait. You got it wrong, it'll be a horrific 0-3 loss. We'll hate Cardiff for thoroughly beating us after looking hopeless all season, Solskjær for being a cunt and now staying up through beating us, our players for letting Cardiff rape us and Solskjær come off as a winner and Pardew for being Pardew. We're Newcastle, everything that can go wrong multiplies by ten when it involves us.
  3. Everything other than the football on show, watching Gateshead at home is an awful experience. 500-800 people at the Bislett Stadion would be the equivilent. Ridic amount of international stadium knowledge though, respect!
  4. Do Gateshead play on the same days as Newcastle? Would be an interesting prospect if people who'd normally go to a Newcastle match rather went there.
  5. Wish anyone of our pundits would say similar. What, slate the players and leave Pardew alone? "Should be gone" unless I'm misreading it I assumed they were criticising him? You're probably right. The way I heard it they first slated the players for not seemingly feeling shame for losing, and that they should want to win every game. They then went over to Pardew who should be on the phone to his agent, because he should be gone for his part in it.
  6. "These Newcastle players should be ashamed of themselves, I can imagine Pardew is on his phone to his agent trying to find his next club, because he should be gone."
  7. "It looks like two teams out there rather wanting to do something else. Man Utd want to play Munchen and Newcastle... want to go to the pub or something." Sometimes I love the Norwegian PL studio
  8. Not to mention he'll not let the students go until ten minutes after the class should have ended. Think of the success he'll bring them though. True, those extra minutes are usually when the decisive studying comes.
  9. Not to mention he'll not let the students go until ten minutes after the class should have ended.
  10. Because they've gained more points through winning and drawing their matches than the teams below them. Also, I'd love it. Fun with underdogs and Eddie Howe is an interesting manager. Seemingly play an okay style of football as well.
  11. My reaction when seeing Stabæk at 5.25 for a win this Sunday: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c75/Kaizero/huh_zps3a529d3a.gif My reaction when I couldn't stop myself from spunking my entire current Unibet kitty on Stabæk for a potential £906.1 return: http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/shortcircuiting.gif My reaction when I realized what I had done: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c75/Kaizero/cr_zps23dd076a.gif
  12. I'm assuming he still wants to be profitable though. Even if he's still tight, he can get players of a certain style and a manager with a certain mindset on a similar budget to now even. Even if he has no ambition, he could at least try and keep the punters entertained on a matchday. We don't even have that. He hates the punters, they call him nasty names. (Ashley) This is also one of my many gripes with Pardew, even if we're not trying to compete properly at least try and entertain. These end of season games are when you're supposed to play with the handbrake off, not stick the car in reverse and back it off a cliff on to a crowded beach. What a perfect analogy
  13. I present to you the "Step-by-step guide to excuses by Alan Pardew": 1. Blame Ben Arfa. Ben Arfa not playing? 2. Blame too many matches. Not that many matches? 3. Blame lack of matches. Normal amount of matches? 4. Blame the team not being their usual self. Team being their usual self? 5. Blame luck. Deservedly hammered? 6. Blame the other team being more up for it than Newcastle due to having something to play for. Newcastle have something to play for? 7. Blame injuries. No injuries to major players? 8. Blame the lack of quality players like Ben Arfa. Ben Arfa played? Repeat ad infinitum.

    Soccer.

he's got his spot booked. Mix is awesome. Scored last weekend.
  15. Why would anyone go play for Canada out of choice?

    Soccer.

    No Mix. No win. Simples.
  17. Are Atletico Madrid sponsored by the nation of Azerbaijan?
  18. Agree, I can see why people want Pardew out but there's no indication that us finishing 10th instead of 8th would have that effect anyway. I'm going to get behind the team as best I can for every game. For me and I imagine a lot of people, getting behind the team and the club is about Pardew not being our manager. There is nothing to support with his team and doing so would be me pretending. Getting rid of him would feel like a fair few victories to me. As I said in another thread, every win actually feels more like a defeat as it keeps Pardew in his job longer.

  20. Sure Barton praised Hughton/Pardew, they were shipped out because they wouldn't agree to Ashley's bonuses, or lack of them. It was Ashley they stood up to and got flogged for it. Barton praised Hughton, not Pardew. Even recall a post-match interview where he said it was the team spirit Hughton had installed in them that made them win, not Pardew.
  21. Find myself disgusted at pretty much not feeling any joy when we win, as I know it keeps Pardew safer than he already is.
  22. If the guy I've been trying to talk sense into on Neesy's facebook is representative for the match going fans, I have no doubt in my mind it'll be booed.
  23. Not that much really between a load of people. We have no decent fan groups unfortunately. In theory I think even just the members on this forum could manage to cough up enough tbh. Some will possibly back with larger sums whilst many small sums become large. I find it intriguing how I thought it was tacky when the Man Utd fans did it, but wouldn't if we did something. Think it's mostly down to the fact that the media and such don't talk about any fan unrest up here with regards to Pardew and it could actually have an impact, whilst the media have been talking about nothing but Moyes being s*** almost all season, so people already know the fans hate him. Best thing to do imo would be to set up a decent looking webpage to advertise on the banner listing the reasons why Pardew should go. More likely to change the flow of opinion of the media/ the general public than a short message which will be too easily dismissed as 'deluded Geordies' or something similar. Short and sweet message such as "No more goals" with a website link following would have an okay impact if media covers it and people actually go to the site. Could list excuses/contradictions/statistics from Pardews time here as well as a constructive and well formulated critisism of Pardew.
  24. I find the hooliganism in Swedish football interesting, as Sweden and Norway aren't all that different in its inhabitants mentalities or social structure. Yet our football cultures are nothing alike at all.
