Doesn't sound like he wrote it. Not at all. Nile disagrees. http://img828.imageshack.us/img828/1147/sjut.jpg

His recent updates indicate he's only started using it 'cause he's pissed at the fakes.

I have no idea how you come to that conclusion. In hindisght I do not either. Here's a pic of him to make up for it: http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/116/14wv.jpg

Nile's Twitter message makes it sound like he's starting tbh. "Bad result yesterday, but we're working hard for a good result against Fulham on saturday."

Because Harry's a wheeler dealer.

He's not being forced to retire, he's just out for the rest of the season (Or well, he should be back in March/April). If he decides to go on after that, who knows?

Donovan saying in today's LA Times that he's not really too keen on a loan move in the MLS post-season due to being "physically drained" from playing 12 consecutive months without break. This is relevant to this thread as the same article links us again alongside Everton.

I'd rather he missed Chelsea, we're going to get tonked regardless Like Arsenal ? Chelsea are miles better than Arsenal. And i rather have him in the team against matches we're supposed to win! Chelsea won't fancy playing against Andy Carroll any more than anyone else does. No reason whatsoever that we can't give them a good game and get something. We beat the Chelski reserves 4-3. We lost against the Arsenal reserves 0-4. We beat the Arsenal first team 1-0. By mathematical logic we should trounce Chelski with loads of goals, simples.

It's Rio's facial expression that makes it.

I've read through FA's rules of the games and haven't found anything saying an on-field incident can't be punished after the fact if the referee saw it. Rather the opposite, as it says clubs can deliver complaints about incidents they don't feel are handled correctly by the referee. That said, I've only read a few bits of it that seemed relevant from the index as fuck am I going to read 500+ pages.

I can't understand for the life of me why some randomly-selected incidents get looked at after the event, and others don't. Totally unfair and inconsistent. it's only matters of violent conduct i believe. I still don't know how the FA managed to wiggle themselves out of not doing something about De Jong just because the ref "saw it". When the ref was so clearly wrong, the FA should correct him. It's fucking stupid, seeing how it's one of the worst tackles of the season, if not the worst.

That's the front page story in the NOTW this Sunday apparently. Aye. It happened at Nolan's house party. On a pinball machine filled with cocaine whilst lighting up a doobie.

Of course it wouldn't. Are you mad? Someone'll just nick him for free in the summer, if they want to get money for him (which, to be fair, we don't know if they do) it'll probably be more around the £4-5m mark. Considering Lee isn't out of contract in the summer (in fact has just signed a 3-year deal with us), it would be. From the 9 players out of contract next summer, only 2 are in the first-team. I thought yo uwere on about Elmander, sorry.

In normal Fat Sam style they were playing for the draw but got lucky due to our defensive errors.

Gamst Pedersen blogs about the incident: Stig: What happened between you and Joey Barton? Morten: You saw what happened. Need not say more. Stig: Come on, save it. What happened? Morten: Seriously, you saw what happened. We crashed, or I go into him and was just to turn to say sorry, and he just lashed out a punch in my stomach. I was very surprised and lost my breath a bit. No big deal Stig: Will you report the incident? Morten: Of course not. It happend in the heat of battle, and it was over when the match was over. This is nothing. And it will certainly not overshadow the amazing performance of the match. Joey Barton is a fantastic football player, and that’s what we do. He has not achieved anything with this, and I don’t either by whining about it after the game Stig: So no sour messages or revenge in the next game? Morten: He he, no no, me and Joey have nothing unsettled. I’ll even invite him to dinner next time he is in Manchester. As I said, let’s put this case dead. Also said about the 5-4-1 formation: "We did not come here to entertain." Well, duh.

No, it was not what they told us. What they told us what that they couldn't do anything because the ref had seen it.

I like how you put the effort in to space out the team correctly but left Krul playing with the corner flag. Our team is so good we don't need a keeper and can rather play another right back, obviously.

http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/9677/gamstcuntersen.jpg If I was playing footy, the play was stopped and I'm running towards the crowd and someone knowingly tries to push me over I'd have punched their face tbh. I've a feeling it's similar to McCarthy telling Henry to go after Barton except this time Barton's fuse was lit.
