southampton last night and these tonight. No such fucking thing as a banker is there?! That match was as far from a banker as you could get.
-
Just sacked their manager. Don't bet on teams that have just sacked their manager, betting 101. Still think Stabæk will take it, though. ooohhh, i did not know that. bugger. I've been away a bit, I'll return to posting my Norwegian updates from next round onwards.
-
1-1 now! Like they'd not end up beating Sandefjord at home. They better hurry the fuck up then mate I'd not have bet on any of today's matches though. They're 50/50s for various reasons.

He was on £40k when we sent him on loan to Birmingham. Can imagine him being on less now, £30k. That's still money off the wagebill, and most importantly Butt out of the team for ever.

Joakim Våge Nilsen for Haugesund might be the brightest Norwegian left back talent since John Arne Riise, and he's only 18.
-
I'm fucking £170 down from just today. Worst betting day in ages for me. If it wasn't for Haugesund and Rosenborg I'd be effin £260 down.
-
Why not just watch and see if they do?
-
Aye, got a £50 double on them and us winning.
-
Fucking my bet. But great for us.

This round has a lot of 50/50 match ups, but going by the teams form in pre-season and after the season has started, there's a potential gold mine in the odds. Which are taken at the time this is posted from Unibet. 3pm Kick-Off 5pm Kick-Off 7pm Kick-Off Main acc suggestion (All kick-off times) Aalesund Haugesund Rosenborg -1 Odd Grenland £10 returns £216 Treble suggestion (Just 5pm) Viking dnb Odd Grenland Rosenborg £10 returns £51 Single: Rosenborg -1 £50 returns £95 Double: Haugesund Odd Grenland £10 returns £47 Dare to dream: Aalesund Haugesund Rosenborg -1 Odd Grenland Viking dnb Molde £10 returns £600

That's not a lot tbh.
-
Why would he sign for us? He obviously prefers living in Newcastle, more fans, a better all round team, possibly a better wage. There's pros and cons obviously, but I dunno, I can just imagine it happening. Same here tbh, don't think it's all that unrealistic.
-
Think he'd be better off being sent out on loan for a season, it's obvious he's got potential going by his ressie form last season and seeing him play this season. He's just not "there" yet.
-
No, because Arsenal with just ressies would kill Wolves. They're not weakened cause they won't go to the match with the "We're not gonna win this anyways, so let's just throw the match." attitude.
-
"Players who are aged under 21 are eligible over and above the limit of 25 players per squad." That means youngsters does not need to be registered under the 25 player limit, or am I just too tired to read it right?

Someone should consult FM.

Harper (Krul) Simpson (NEW) Williamson (NEW) Colo (Kadar) Enrique (NEW) NEW (Routledge) NEW (Guthrie) Barton (Nolan) Jonas (NEW) Carroll (McLoven) NEW (Best) Is what I think is realistic. I reckon the four NEW's in parenthesis might become our youngsters if we don't get a decent enough transfer kitty. Also think we'll be shopping domestically, even though I'd like us to try to get some quality on the cheap from foreign leagues. O'Hara for midfield I think is a cert. Could possibly also imagine us going for Pedersen since he'll be on a free, but doubt he'd want to come to play second fiddle to Jonas unless we offer him silly money, which we won't. I hope we'll eventually have the stones to cough up the dough for Skjelbred though, especially now since he's learnt to play as a left winger as well as a centre mid.

tbf the only reason it's been "Can they catch Newcastle" is because if they did it would be a much greater upset than if they catched WBA.
