He talks about clubs like Everton and West Ham like they’re great clubs, and he doesn’t go after them if, for example, some Everton fans hang a banner threatening Rafa near his home. Yet he’ll repeatedly bring up some mean words on Twitter about Steve Bruce. IMO he singles Newcastle out and seems to have a genuine dislike for the fans. He always says he knows exactly what we’re like because he used to know the Shepherds and Halls.

It’s Newcastle he has an agenda against. He goes against anyone that acts in the clubs interests and is for anyone that acts against our interests.

Tell you what what, I’d rather watch England than that fucking Spain team that won everything.

People got way too attached to Rafa, maybe me included. Probably because we’ve been starved of real quality for so long. He would only come back if there was a takeover, and if there’s a takeover (massive if) then the world should be our oyster. There are plenty of good managers out there. This is in a whole other league to what talksport were kicking up a fuss about with Bruce. The "threats" there seemed to amount to a couple people saying they hope he gets covid in twitter. Rafa should call off the move and say it's due to threats made against his family.

I'm not just shitting on the team. I rate some of them really highly, Foden is fantastic and Mount is very good. Grealish is very good (although people have gone overboard in the last few weeks), and I think we have really good fullbacks. That said, I'm not sure many of them have much of a reputation outside of England. We're looking at other countries teams and there are comments about a lack of star names, and I just expect we're seen in a similar way abroad.
