I know alot of people are gutted that Given have left but i for one don't think we'll miss him that much with this man in goal. He looked good today, saved a few good chances and even when Sunderland scored he still managed to save the first one on one with Cisse! he's been waiting 15 years for his chance and now he got it, lets hope he takes it with both hands.

Problem is when Given handed in a transfer request there was only very little we could do but accept the bid.

He was good today, seems to be improving more every game, looks a much better player than Shola already..hopes he gets more chances.

I really like Roy Hodgson when it comes to Transfer, always acts as if he was playing FM and signs at least 7 players per window THEN starts thinking where he'll play them Then again he got Erick Nevland scoring the PL

Thats a nice list of players to choose from for my fantasy team, their all going to have a blinder every single time they play against us.

I can understand him wanting to flee a sinking ship, this club is going nowhere, he's a top-class goalkeeper and has been a great servant for our club, wish him all the best.

Said it before, he'll go on to be a great player outside this club, he has the abillty. But does anyone else hope his move away falls in the last minute and he dosn't get to move in this window?

I rate him, Better than what we have and thats really all i want, at least he'll keep Nicky fucking Butt out of the midfield, brilliant.
