  1. Didn't the same happen with Roeder when we all knew he wasn't good enough but after a good run of games we all becamse delusional and wanted him in charge? No for me, unless he comes up with something really impressive.
  2. Luque was the one, we got to see our whole reserves team get a taste of first team football just so he dosn't, i remember Shola played on the left wing for a couple of month aswell!
  3. If he scores for the first team i'm putting his name on my jeresy.
  4. Holy crap, did anyone see who Juve's keeper was? Alex fucking Manninger!
  5. Scored for the reserves tonight, so did Ranger and Marewood.
  6. Playing with the reserves tonight, impressive line-up: NUFC: Krul, Edgar, Kadar, Tozer, Morris, Godsmark, Barton, Doninger, Marwood, Ranger, Carroll, Lough, Ferguson, McCrudden, Inman, Sam Ameobi, McDermott. He scored a hatrick in the last two games he played vs Boro res.
  7. He should play in today's reserve game to try and get back to full fitness.
  8. Is it me or does it seem that Xisco is the new Luque.. I'll start a new thread soon and lets debate it for 200 pages! The good old days are back!
  9. Has simply no abillty when the ball is at his feet, everytime i see him i get the feeling that he's going to give it straight to the other team. But he's handling his defensive duties pretty well so i guess thats what matters in the end.
  10. Thats it, he's 19 ffs and hasn't featured that much in our first team to say that his time is up when it hasn't even started is pretty odd, yes he was poor but thats when you get for putting a 19 yearold striker who's back from a long term injury straight in an intense game where a side like City is playing against us and we only have 10 men, anyway he's still got a lot to learn and hopefully he'll get better with time.
  11. Just hope he put us back on track before he leaves, will be one of my heros if he does so.
  12. I'm 100% sure he did in the 2nd game. And i'm a 100% sure your wrong.
  13. "look, i'm riding my own prick!"
  14. Nile Ranger > all the super hero's combined
  15. His name isn't John Terry and he dosn't play for England. So no.
  16. Good game that was, disappointed we didn't get all 3 points though My comments:- Given: Been pretty decent, some great saves and can't be faulted for any of their goals, same old Shay. Bassong: looked solid, good strong defender, his only problem is his lack of technique when the ball is in his feet Colo:Looked pretty good, he really looks like a class defender minus the physical abillties, hopefully he'll get better with time Taylor: Strong solid peformence. Beye: can't really say anything about him, shouldn't have been sent off Butt: Good peformence from him today, he often gives one good game in every 5 or so games, that was it. Geremi: worked hard either in midfield or as a right back, another assist today. Duff: worked his socks off but faded towards the end of the game, h ope he can keep it up. Guthrie: looked good, some nice passing and covering. Martins: did what was expected from him, worked hard up front or as a winger. Ameobi: whenever i see his name in the starting line-up i expect him to give that sort of peformence, he has the height and strength to play the way he did, its just the question of can he do it every game, great peformence today and capped it with a goal. Subs: Zoggy: Worked hard Carroll: although i quite like him, he shouldnt have been brought on today, his first game in about 4 or 5 month and it can't have come at a worse time, poor peformence but hopefully a run in with the reserves and he'll get back to full fitness. On a side note both of our goals were lucky as fuck
  17. Our bench looks twice as good as our starting eleven Anyway i'll leave any comment for after the game, hope we win this one.
  18. Its the highlight of our season tbf. Thats it! whenever i watch them they seem to put a smile (and a laugh) on my face, god bless them.
  19. Those names above pretty much says it all really. I remember Finnigan was scoring somthing like 2 goals every single game with the reserves and u-18, same goes for Chopra. But that class goal Ranger scored against Wigan was somthing that you don't see every day
  20. Hopefully it is just a bit teenage puppy fat, he just seemed biggish to me. Rooney & Gazza are/were big units so it may not be a bad thing. Isn't he supposed to be the next Rooney anyway?
  21. Wallcott makes it 3-1 for Arsenal.
