Mario Jardel, had one of the best goal scoring recoreds in the history of Football, amazing player in his prime..last thing i heard he was released from Newcastle Jets and admitted taking drugs druing the last couple of years..

Probably what the fans will think, the media and people in other clubs still rate him pretty highley..for no fucking reason other than him being Alan Smith.

He's not "Exceptionally" good in the air, and it's not like he's intelligent in the same way as Kluivert, Bergkamp. He's a team player that runs alot, and has lots of movement and works hard for the team, and quite a good finisher. True, hard worker but isn't THAT good in the air..used to be really highley rated but for some reason didn't sign for a big club..

Fans are absolute cunts.. but big team with its fair share of history..so it would be a shame to see them go down.

Pretty harsh considring he's going to earn more money there than he's earning here.. But i can't understand him wanting to stay, he won't get games here, he should go a try and prove himself somewhere else..

Jon Parkin..if were going there Actually many championship sides have these "battering rams" strikers such as Steve Howard and so..most fail when making the step up to the premierleague..other than Kenwyne Jones whos amazing in the air.. I think we could create our on target man with the attributes we want in Andy Carroll's case, if we really do need a target man to our systam..

Like him, alot..but the problem is our old pal Harry Redknapp wanted him at the start of the season and he even scouted him, i remember him saying something about him being the tallest man of the pitch yet not winning a single header..

Very well done, got alot of abuse espically from people here in the past..seems to be getting better by the game, still didn't sign a new contract though!

He's just totally confused, he like the rest of us do not know what kind of player he is and where he should be playing (when he has too) Well said, it really seems to be the case, he seems to change his whole style of play depending on where he's playing..seems like he's been used to being told exactly what to do otherwise he'll fuck up..
