  1. Random story of the day comes from Celtic where Albania's president who's also a somehow a die hard Celtic fan was in attendance,, he seems to have loved it
  2. Manchester City's Cole Palmer came on the bench to replace Kevin De Bruyne for their premier league game against Burnley, then he started the reserves game against Leicester a few hours later and scored a hatrick, great attitude.
  3. I think they will have their meetings with Yasir and the rest of the board today and get these a few key decisions out of the way.
  4. He's a saudi who travels to football events around the world, most of his videos are like a parody of a bedouin in foreign countries.
  5. Someone needs to explain to Yasir what giving him the chop actually means in Newcastle.
  6. He looks happy to be here and i hope he makes it a personal goal of his to make us as successful as can be, the man sits on the board of some of the largest organizations in the world and he's not going to accept anything less from himself or from the team managing the club.
  7. Unbelievably bad signing this lad, what sort of position is a player playing wide left trying to win flick-ons and holding up the ball just so he ends up either playing it back or losing it.
  8. Their crimes against humanity have already started by forcing us to watch Joelinton for 90 minutes..
  9. If he really is one of us like he claims he needs to walk himself and just admit he is simply not good enough to carry the club forward.
  10. Horrific decision to keep him, really shat all over the day with his tactics, this guy is one of the worst things i've seen in footbal.
  11. It was lovely seeing our new owners celebrate the goal. But then their faces upon realizing what a big mistake they made keeping Bruce in charge
  12. Rondon has been playing like a Sunday league player since he joined Everton.
  13. It's a traditional Arab attire and has nothing to do with ideology.
  14. It is a poor decision regardless of what they are trying to do, if he wins then people outside of the club will be saying he deserves a chance under the new regime and that he didn't get the support needed working with Ashley, if he loses the fans will be booing him and the team and all the buzz from last week will go down, meaning they will set themselves back.
  15. Any minister/high level position is refereed to as his excellency. Edit: But to be honest, there is no real obligation to call him that.
  16. If he going to be managing us for the Spurs team the only way they won't ruin the atmosphere is if they say they've decided to give him his 1000 game and then he's fucking off, and even with that the minute we go down to spurs the fans might turn on him which will effect the team.
  17. Isaac Westendorf Scored again today, think he earned to join the U-23. opponents Newcastle Benfield have 44 yearold Paul Brayson playing for them
  18. The head to head record between the two sides is quite even and it will be great if we can play them again (albeit let it be in the cup while they are still rotting in league 1) They definitely are our rivals and until Amanda and Co take us up to where PSG and Barcelona are our european rivals and City and Liverpool in the league they will continue to be.
  19. While he's entitled to his (or his employers) opinions and its his job to draw cartoons about them, it's still a petty dig at our club and fans, even if we between each other disagree on some matters its still our club and we will all celebrate the wins together like we all went through the awful previous era together, anyone from outside who is trying to make us feel bad about it can fuck off.
  20. Him and his employers have thrown everything they have on us but every success will make their blood boil further, let's hope the next few years are our best years ever.
  21. Lampard is arguably less proven as a manager than Bruce is, we need someone with pedigree.
  22. Yesterday here in Bahrain we were having dinner and a japaneese guy walked in with 4 of his mates, he looked very familiar, until one of my friends recognized him as Keisuke Honda, upon looking at his wikipedia page the guy has the most random/interesting current career, he is currently playing in Lithuania after winning the Azerbaijan first division last year, while at the same time managing the Cambodian national team, they are currently here for an Asian cup qualifying double header against Guam.
  23. When one of the most important goals in our recent history was when Atsu's miss-hit shot bouncing of Diame and into the top corner
  24. Starting with the right mentality against spurs will be very important, there will be incredible hype around the game and having Bruce will just completely mess up the mood, fans will be even more encouraged to shout that they want him out and it will probably distract the team, should take him out of it asap.
  25. Assuming that people here will suddenly be more tolerant to homophobia because Saudi Arabia bought the club is like Saudi hardliners thinking that buying us will mean that Newcastle's drinking culture will suddenly invade saudi and gay Newcastle fans will will start holidaying in Jeddah and Riyadh, it just doesn't work like that, the morale fabric of society will not disintegrate over the purchase of a football club, Newcastle is an incredibly inclusive, diverse and tolerant place, one of the best in the world. and any attempts to change that will be swiftly met and dealt with from the overwhelming majority of people.
