  1. Really Thought he was going to retire, interesting to see what shape he's in and quite happy to see him again
  2. Brought on to shore up the left side with 5 minutes to go and we concede with a cross from the fucking left.
  3. He was crap to be honest, Andy Carroll would've put in a similar sort of performance, we need him to take it up a level if we are to stay up.
  4. He is by far our best player, said it before but in an ideal scenario he will be one of many competent players and be the one to provide us with something special when we need it, however due to the fact that those around him are utter shit he is feeling the pressure every week.
  5. At the time where we needed him the most he has let us down, he's been going downhill for a while now and needs to be one of those taken out of the team the minute we get a CB.
  6. Chelsea will also be there around that time and will play Saudi Champions Al-Hilal and Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao are all currently there for the Spanish Super Cup but watch how the media will handle this when its us, i doubt even many of the locals will give a shit about Matt Ritchie and co. Being in town
  7. Wasn't his debut but i remember on his first start and out of nowhere Leon Best scored a hatrick against West Ham.

    Lucas Digne

To be honest seeing how he's handled all of this i'm glad he didn't come to us, strange for Villa to sign him as Matt Targett isn't that bad either.
  9. Now we have a striker for the next game which makes me feel a bit better about it, i also really like these 2.5 years contract as it gives the player something to work for rather than insanely long contract that makes them feel relaxed and complacent, also means if they are not good we are not forced to stick with them as is the case with most of our current squad
  10. Luuk De Jong scoring for Barcelona against Real Madrid in the super cup, imagine telling someone this 8 years ago after his spell with us
  11. He should've played in the Cambridge game instead of the useless Fraser
  12. Why would Origi move to Burnley though? he surely can play for better teams outside the league, could see him moving to the likes of Roma and Napoli.
  13. The Cambridge defeat was the perfect sabotage mission for our transfer window, pretty much took all the feel good factor from the club.
  14. Pretty sure everyone has been doing the same anyway.
  15. Our current players are such an embarrassment, that's why we are so desperate for signings.
  16. She's part fucking owner of the club so unless she decides to boot herself i think PIF are quite happy with letting her run things on their behalf, they don't want to be in the face of it as all this will bring is political questions.
  17. Thinking about this game this morning honestly makes me feel sick, can't believe the players decided this is the best they can do at home in front of the new owners and a full stadium, i fail to think of one player who actually did well yesterday other than maybe Trippier but you can tell he was shocked and the level of his team mates.
  18. How poor was he yesterday? He looked like he would struggle to get in their side let alone ours.
  19. Absolute garbage from him and the team today, i know our players are shit but he really embarrassed both himself and the club with that performance and his next steps are really important to determine what sort of person he is and how he can dig himself and the team out of this. a few of our more senior players should not even considered going forward, maybe its time to give the likes of Anderson more chances at least they might have some hunger in them.

    Joe Willock

Complete opposite of the player he was last year when he was running from the half way line and scoring, this lad look scared and didn't know what to do when he had the ball today.
  21. Our owners are serious people and they will find a way to make this work, but it's shambolic what these so called professional footballers are doing at the moment, you would think seeing where the ownership is trying to take the club they would give everything but instead they are still playing their pretend football and hoping they can get away with doing the bare minimum, i hope in a year or two that all of those involved today bar one or two are no longer with us.
  22. This game is a slap of reality to everyone involved, it shows how far we slipped as a team and it will take a monster effort to rebuild from here.
  23. Rene Higuita finished his club career with a higher game/goal ratio than he has with us.
  24. He was bad today but honestly we are even worse without him, we need him as "one" of our players and not our "one" player. its almost like everything depends on what sort of game he will have.
  25. He has been awful from day one, bar a few moments the fact that he "works hard and runs a lot " has allowed him to escape strong criticism, absolute shocking footballer.
