I have had a grudge against Barcelona in Europe ever since UEFA handed them the title in 2009 and everyone acted like it was some victory for football. That reaction turned me against the cult of thought that had become loving Barcelona. I hate Milan more than most teams in the world though, so Viva Barca!

I'm torn between watching OM capitulate to Bayern and the big match in Barcelona. My loyaltes lie elsewhere, but I don't want to be sitting in boredom, while the rest of the world is captivated.

I believe Milan will score tonight. Can Barcelona score twice?!

I'm not his biggest supporter in life, but he knows how to use his pace and is actually quite skillful and dangerous. He's different to Marveaux because he is more explosive and just a different option. I actually would not mind him at all as an impact substitute in the 4-3-3 system we have used lately if he would accept that role at a bigger club. Samuel is not good enough for now and Vuckic failed to make an impact in the Championship. Next season we need to ship out some of our reserve players who are not up to much, have our promising youngsters on loans where they will play more than five minute cameos and bring in 2-3 quad players who can actually do a job. This is especially true if we are in Europe and Guthrie leaves (which he should).

Not true. They played pretty well the first season they were up under MM. Even then, they were well in the bottom half and had very little talent (especially going forward) I don't believe the squad hey have now represents any sort of decline from 2010.

I thought Chelsea (our main rival) looked very good tonight. They don't have the lungs or consistency to maintain good form over the course of a league season, but they've looked much more solid under Di Ma TT eo. They have difficult fixtures ahead and will be heavily engaged trying to win silverware in the FA Cup/Champions League, so hopefully they drop some tired points.

It looks a penalty in slow motion, but in real-time Murphy stopped running and invited contact from from a player sprinting back at full speed. I hate the inferior United more than any club, but that would have been harsh, imo.
