Is that actually him? Looks in awful shape for a professional footballer. Nolan-esque.

What? No one is saying they are not good. I am saying I do not like them. I don't particularly enjoy they way they play and comport themselves. This is what I am talking about. I talk about any other club and people just take it for what it is. If you make heretical statements about the Church of Barca, you will be attacked.

I hate them. I've hated them since the referees saved them against Chelsea in 2009 and all of the idiot pundits decreed it a "VICTORY FOR FOOTBALL!!!!" despite the fact they had robbed a team they outclassed them physically and tactically. It really irks me the way that everyone ignores their faults and cheating and praise them with ridiculous consistency. So you are having a bad night despite seeing some of the best football ever played..? Well the team I wanted to win was completely obliterated. Of course I am unhappy. I suppose that I should be thankful for being given the opportunity to watch Barcelona play. It is shame I do not worship the shrine of the Catalonian giants like everyone else seems to.

Newcastle 5 - 0 Man Utd was when it last happened Chelsea-Mackems was pretty bad.

Di Maria right after the 1-0.

I never found Chelsea or Inter to be overly boring. They were just the masters of practical, efficient football. I like that.

Good Lord. This is rape. This is bad. I cannot believe what I am saying. Embarrassing from Madrid. You wouldn't have expected it given how his teams have fared against Barca in the past. Maybe the personnel still isn't there.
-
I disagree. Plenty of goals on the pitch. They need to maintain possession.

Real Madrid have played very poorly. Ridiculous how easy they were to break down considering how many they kept back to defend. If you are going to sit back, you have to be disciplined and alert.

Real Madrid will still win this. The title has to go to the Bernabeu this season.

Terry will still be recovering when they play us. Our forwards should trouble him with their great skill and pace....

Chelsea's midfield three consists of an Englishman, a Nigerian, and a Ghanaian. These are not nations that produce "technically better" players. When you are dealing with the top level players they will be able to adjust. The problem rreally is Gerrard's unwillingness to do the dirty work (which he has the ability to do). If you play a three, then Lampard should be the most advanced with Gerrard operating in behind, similar to Iniesta and Xavi or Essien and Lampard. What England really needs more than anything is a high quality holding player. Maybe Huddlestone or Rodwell can become that. That's the key, really.

Americans love the World Cup. That doesn't mean they care about football. There's a difference. Still, it would be a fun, vibrant event if they hosted and interest in the States would be very high.

I was just about to post the exact same thing. If your midfielders are good, than their footedness doesn't matter at all. Especially if there are three.

You could of guessed the nationality without even thinking. Shameful, corrupt embarrassment of a country.

"(Quality Defensive Midfielder) is useless. Most of his passes are sideways and no more than ten yards." Right. Come back when you understand football.

My problem with Gabby is that he's been around for 3-4 years now, and hasn't progressed too much for me. I don't think he'll ever become more than he is, which is a good player, but not great. He's one dimensional, imo.

Fwiw, this is hardly "The FUTURE OF FRANCE!". Nearly everyone who started is an established first team player who has been capped before. Everyone on there lineup, other than M'vila and Rami, is a starter for a Champions League side

Was actually really impressed with Yokoyama's goal untill I realised that they were girls, which btw, took too long for my comfort. It's easy to spot as because they're so s*** she actually manage to do what she does it must be women's football. Hardly an achievement as women's football isn't a real sport. I don't understand all this nonsense about women's football not being a "real sport". It's clearly a sport, just not one that you enjoy. They don't really need to change the rules, they just need the general level of the players to improve, which will occur if the sport spreads and becomes more popular. I really don't think any of the problems with the game at current are to do with physical limitations. As for goal size, there are plenty of six foot tall girls about and it is not as if the scores are significantly higher than men's football except when poor teams play top teams.

19-20 year old midfielder who's been in Rennes first team for two seasons.

What are those noises coming out of Pienaar's mouth?

Will be interesting to see if SA return to being a below average African side after their World Cup rejuvenation. Actually, I was looking forward to it, but then I realised they were still blowing those Goddamn horns. I should go do something constructive instead of listen to this.
