Well I'm convinced. he's spelt his name wrong It'd be hilarious if the extra "e" was actually a typo from the real Defoe.

Glad Barca lost. The media spectacle over them has gotten ridiculous. They play good football and they have the world's best player. Why does this require me to like them? It's not like they are some gods to football. I hope Inter and Mourinho survive the second leg and beat Lyon in the final.

I must say I'm very comfortable with the thought of Christopher being our manager, and I wouldn't have imagined saying that in August.

It's funny how life and football can be cyclical. Last season we were relegated by Villa, who's supporters were beaming with excitement at their accomplishment. This season, we have become The Relegator, and are crushing the dreams of teams less fortunate than ourselves. Dancing with excitement throughout their stadium, as everyone involved deals with the prospect of inevitable failure and heartbreak.

Still intending to honor this, now that you have met your part of the bargain. I think Mourinho will save you a few Euro.

Started one league game. He's 5th choice behind Jags, Heitinga, Distin & Yobo. He'll leave at the end of the season. I have a feeling Moyes will sell Yobo to raise funds as well, he'd be a good signing for you lot. would that be joseph "what goal am i defending?" yobo as an everton fan friend of mine put it recently he doesnt rate him He's prone to the odd daft mistake but in general he's a good defender. Been a great servent to us for about 8 years now, far better than the likes of Senderos. He'd be a great signing for us. Senderos would be decent too. I'm sure he used to play RB, is he better there or in the middle? Do you mean Yobo? I don't think he really has the lungs to play right back the way he used to very early in his career. He was always better in the centre anyway. Would be a very good signing I think. I'm not his biggest fan, but he's a talent defender with a pretty good fitness record and massive Premiership experience. Very good for a side coming up.

Fabianski?! I'm surprised they let this guy play after Porto. He looked concussed throughout the duration of that match, and has been error-prone generally. I'm surprised they do not use that Mannone. He's looked good when called in and is supposed to be the future #1 in London.

You could have watch either Chelsea-Arsenal match this season and come to the same conclusion, tbh. Chelsea are 1st. I mean yeah, they are, but Man U and Chelsea have been rather close as the top two in England for most of season. Also, Manchester has also beaten Arsenal twice this season, with one of those matches being something of a rout, as well.

You could have watch either Chelsea-Arsenal match this season and come to the same conclusion, tbh. Still, I can't disagree that La Liga has disappointing and somewhat boring this season. Outside of Premiership, Ligue 1 and Serie A have had the best entertainment, imo. Bundesliga is close too, but I haven't really seen enough to comment on it.

could say something similar about bentley recently No you couldn't he's contributed f*** all and looks nowhere near worth 15m. I'd hope KD would agree with me on that, but he looks very poor. Bale actually looks worth his money, and has given two of the top fours right backs the run around, in the same season he was linked with a loan move to us. If you think Paulo Ferreira is a top four right back, than you just dont know much about Paulo Ferreira.

Let me help you find redemption, Rob. FC Cartagena are in a decent position to be promoted from the Spanish second divison, and they wear Black and White stripes. Odds are still decent.

I'm still quite angry at Craig Bellamy for gifting that game to Manchester United. I was never a big fan, and now he has tilted the title race in their favour.

What are they doing, Keefaz? They are capitulating. They are collapsing.

I'm watching a telecast with no commentrary, so I might be misinterpreting, but I thought the yellow was for the late kick? I didn't think original foul was all that serious.

Harry Kewell was alomost permanently injured in his time at Liverpool. He's doing ok in turkey I think. But he's around 33 I think and would probably barely play if we brought him here. I would love John O'Shea, btu I doubt he leaves Man U to come here. I don't really think we need a quality left back. Enrique is good enough for sure, and we also have Kadar who has looked competent.

Did Drogba injure himself on the kickoff for second half?
