Carragher? That is the kind of signing that got is in trouble in the first place. Players coming from the biggest clubs, on the downside of their careers and wanting massive wages.

REALITY CHECK: PREM FOOTBALL IS VERY DIFFERENT!!

Thats Wolves record this season. Oh alright, that makes alot more sense. I think it is worth considering that the lack of goals also has alot to do with the way that the team sets up now. They are likely to play much more negative lineups than they did last season. -

Did we really score only 20 goals in the first 28 matches? -
Sunderland supporters...Red and Black!!

Booth looks ridiculous in this photo

Yeah, I forgot the time when blue, yellow, brown and red lasers came down from the sky, and the game where Emre cheekily opted not to wear shorts. The "lasers" were meant to represent interracial unity among Newcastle supporters. It didn't come out too well, though. Still, I am pleased with my efforts.

Mehn, I know it old picture, but I find no talent in this arena: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/3072/25266576.png

Sometimes the Premiership is too predictable. I have no interest in all at watching Man U labour to a victory against Wolves.
-
Martins came off the bench and scored the 2-1 goal in a 4-1 victory today.

Big powerful striker type. He is playing very well for Esperance right now, who are on of the biggest clubs in Africa. When he has shown up for Nigeria he's done quite well and has been very willing to get his hands dirty. I'm definitely a fan of him. I can't imagine staying in Tunis through the summer. He'll be somewhere in Europe.

Everton will being jeering at Rooney his whole career. Some wounds run deep. The immediate anger should go away soon though. He'll just become another player who gets abuse when he plays at SJP.

Yeah, seems odd. I can see where some of you are coming from though. I would expect it to be pretty hard to feel anything for a side with Cashley, Terry, Gerrard, etc. in it. It's a lot easier to like the guys on the US squad and feel a togetherness with the other fans. That's not what it is about though, is it? I passionately hate Yakubu, but if he scores a goal to help us advance in the World Cup I will be absolutely estatic.

I think that happens when the club is back in the Premiership. Right now people are still bitter.

Utaka plays for OB (Odense, Denmark)....he is their top goalscorer and they are heading for the title this year! He has been really class this year and he is on top of the topscorer list with 13 goals! He looks good and strong! Interesting to see him in a bigger league.....think he could do well in france, bundesliga or maybe in the PL. It's unfair of me to criticise him directly I guess. I don't watch the Danish league much. Really, I'm more angry at the fact that unless five or six players get injured, he has no chance of making the World Cup. This is the last friendly before World Cup camp commences. Why are we playing sub standard opposition, and putting out a team of players that will most likely not be headed to South Africa. The WC is in three months! guess martins, yakubu and obinna is ahead of him....who else? I can rattle off a whole list of names here....Obasi, Osaze, Ike Uche, Akpala, Eneramo, Anichebe, Ideye. Generally there are just a lot of players likely to receive a call up over a 26 year old playing in Denmark. (if you include youngsters, etc.) Also of note, We used a striker named "Thankgod" in the same friendly

Colo and Jonas are the players I would least like to do well out of the ones going. Especially Jonas. If he has a good tournament, he is gone.
-
Was just wondering, who would most Newcastle fans support? England, or an Argentina side if Coloccini & Jonas were in the side? One would hope England. As a member of the Commonwealth (and someone who hates Argentina), I'd back England as well.
-
That's very good actually.
-
Fighting with Argentina and Greece for that second spot.
-
Maybe it is just Bolton that is rubbish.

Every time I see that commercial at the top, I feel like putting on my Nigeria shirt and running around pretending to score the winning goal in the WC final like I did when I was four. I definitely enjoyed 2006, even though we weren't there, but this is a different animal. There is nothing like watching your nation compete in this tournament. There is still a chance I might be in South Africa for this, so I'm even more excited than usual.
-
Depends if the Argies can beat out Greece and South korea for second in the group.

The thing is he is only doing it to be a pure c***. He probably knows f*** all about the Falklands war and probably wasn't even born when it happened. They're within their 'rights' but he deserves a good kick up the arse. Babs is all for free speech man he does not do a paddy when we talk about BLACK POWER or references to Nigerian footballers being older than the dates on there passports. Yeah I am all for free speech. This does not mean I have to agree with this type of idiocy and nonsense. I do not ask for these people to be banned, I simply rubbish their arguments with my vastly superior thought and knowledge or ignore them completely as I did with the "forever young" nonsense where people decided to take the piss out of my country with no provocation.
-
I think they're well within their rights to hold up an Argentina shirt. Free speech always and forever.
