  1. Or our lot think the season is a forgone conclusion and need to pull their fingers out. We should be at least 1-1 here. How can you conclude this? QPR are supposedly a decent team and we are down 1-0 to a deflected goal and have missed a penalty. This is football, nothing comes easy.
  2. Would have prefered Nolan. Guthrie's hardly played, he can't have as much confidence.
  3. He'll get plenty of games, but maybe not as many starts. He's third choice striker, and plays on the wing as well. Cheers for that. Can't imagine he'll be content as 3rd choice or on the wing. Considering that the two infront of him scored 25+ goals last season and he scored about 9, I'm thinking he knew the situation coming in. Problems would only set in if Wolfsburg drop from the upper echelon on Germany.
  4. Zurich 1 Milan 0. Hmmm. Any kind of result against Madrid for l'OM could be huge if Zurich keep it up.
  5. Given the selection of matches tonight, I can't see why anyone would want to watch Chelsea toil to an easy 3-0 victory.
  6. Really excited for the match against Real tonight. (l'OM) We've put out a real physical, strong side and I hope we can maybe force our influence on the game a bit.
  7. He'll get plenty of games, but maybe not as many starts. He's third choice striker, and plays on the wing as well.
  8. Only those are a class above? How many other teams have players as good as Guthrie, Taylor, Carroll etc. etc.? Just realised you probably just meant we lost Martins? That was the problem right? Who were the superstars who left? Viduka, Owen? Only Bassong was decent last season and Enrique was better than Beye. We lost Martins, Owen, Bassong, Beye, Duff, Viduka. These players are all far above the Championship level of football. Hell Beye and Bassong, Duff went to top seven teams and Martins and Owen are in the Champions League. Honestly, I forgot Guthrie and he definitely is Premiership calibre. Taylor has never consistently played well at the top level, but he is definitely developing into a good player.
  9. We did lose the majority of our good players though. It's not like we're playing with a Premiership squad. Only Jonas, Enrique, and Barton are a class above imo. Of those three Jonas is injured, Barton is injured/in jail/doesn't care/clinically insane, and Enrique hasn't settled down yet.
  10. England is awful at all non-European age grade tourneys. Not surprising they lose to countries who take the competition more seriously.
  11. Nah, lolz, I'm probaly going to kill u.
  12. Watford beating us would be the Championship equivalent of North Korea beating Italy in '66
  13. I think Fiorentina are going to do what l'OM did two years ago and hand it to Liverpool in the last match. I think they are also the most likely team to get a 0-0 against Debrecen or something like that. Lyon and Liverpool to advance.
  14. I like the guy. Hope he gets back soon. I really want him to succeed in our colors.
  15. Liverpool have a tough road ahead by the way, the trip Florence has already proved difficult. Going to Stade de Gerland isn't too much fun either. Fiorentina are good and all of the big French teams have improved in the last few seasons.
  16. Chance to go five points clear. Very important match tommorrow. Saying that, the thrill of a potential title race will be a lot more enjoyable than the thrill of a relegation fight.
  17. We should have beat Spain. Admitedly, I only watched the highlights, but we had bucketloads of chances. It is absolutely ridiculous that we have yet to score in this tournament.
  18. To be fair to Ramos and whoever was buying players in January, Real did go on about a 18 game unbeaten run between the Barca games. Even in chaos, they almost caught you.
  19. If we're in the Premiership, I don't want Harewood. If we remain in the Championship (god forbid), he'd be a good asset and he'd rpobaly be willing to stay.
  20. I rather admired him at L'OM. He was a rock for a good few years in France. He was even good for his first year at Bolton, but after that his career just fell apart. No where near his old level. Maybe he is just one of those players who are more comfortable in France, like Diawara.
  21. I was expecting a bit more from him based on what he said about himself.. That singer girl distracted him. Good tactics from Ipswich.
  22. There is no one to challenge Inter really, they will win the Scudetto quite easily....again.
  23. Meite has turned ultra-rubbish since coming to England. Don't want him.
