On a separate but stadium related note; the TV screen where I am hasn’t worked properly for at least 2 seasons now, is perhaps 10 years old and has a visible screen of a 25 year old portable once you take away all the advertising splattered on it. You can’t get 4G anywhere so getting half times results etc is almost impossible. Really is a pet hate of mine.

What awful refereeing

Docco, they’ve scored again

Docco we’ve scored.

There’s something not right and it’s not just a confidence thing. These players do not look like they’re putting the effort in (fine margins and all that but there’s more than a hint of going through the motions at times) and it’s embarrassing.

We’ve got no control of the middle of the park and Kenedy and Atsu May as well be in the dressing room. Not good enough.

The fans were very quiet yesterday, it was an awful watch, nowt to get remotely excited about it waiting for the inevitable to happen. There were anti Ashley chants but the crowd should stop the stand up if you hate Ashley chant as it doesn’t work. Our only hope is a takeover; Rafa is playing politics but yesterday’s tactics did him no favours.

By all accounts Shola is a fantastic bloke and he shouldn’t have a dog in this fight. If he ends up with a job out of this I’ll be very disappointed. Shola knows the craic.

Cracking league, Scunthorpe 4 down at home within 30 minutes......

Just clicked and put a load of stuff in my bag just to be childish. If that really does reserve stock for a while we’d be better off each loading bags with some of his best sellers and try and get them to show unavailable. The £230 football boots I’ve put in ran out of stock at £25k.

Not sure like, Arter’s was at least a tackle. Kenedy’s was just violent conduct. Arter’s wasn’t a tackle it was a full blooded kick with the sole intention of bringing the player down. To be a tackle he’d have to at least try and challenge the ball. Kenedy’s kick out was petty and petulant (and should have been a red) Arter’s was professional, dangerous and excessive force.
-
I think the Ref only giving Arter a yellow for a worse kick has saved him.
-
He saw the foul but not the kick I think. So in that regard video replay could do him. Agree but he must also think that taking a kick at someone is only a yellow. Neither was challenging for the ball and both and Arter’s was more than a petulant kick. The foul wasn’t a yellow so there wasn’t a yellow. There’s no way he could have seen the kick and given nothing. You aren’t picking up what I’m saying. He didn’t see Kenedy’s Kick but he did see Arter’s which was worse and gave a yellow; on that basis had he’d seen Kenedy’s he’d have also given a yellow. Both were reds but not by the his own rules.
-
Looking at this we should be working on late runs into the box, Arsenal have had 4 sitters by doing just this.

I’ll ask this again; it was a clear red but if the Ref says he saw it but didn’t realise it was a blatant kick and now thinks it’s a red surely we can appeal on the basis that he only gave Arter a yellow for a far worse blatant kick out. It seems that these ‘taking one’ for team professional fouls are viewed as acceptable and are therefore a yellow.
-
So ask Warnock about Arter’s kick then ffs
-
If he didn’t think that Arter’s was a red how’s he going to say Kenedy desevered to go?
-
After what he’d served up there’s no way he should have been allowed to take that penalty, Shelvey let him take the rubbish freekick there’s no excuse for him letting him take the penalty.
