He needs to play with his head up and take more care with the ball. Prime example was when he lost the ball centrally on the edge of their box with a ridiculously risky Cruyff turn from a corner which should have led to a goal by Deulofeo (?) as they broke with something like a 4 on 2.

We won ‘cos Deeney wasn’t playing; they were wasteful in front of goal and we improved after the subs. The time and space they were given was disgraceful at times. I’m not sure why they took Hughes off; he seemed to have 3 yards of space everywhere he went.

Watford fans started the clapping; some in the Gallowgate joined in and then some others. Should have been silence but the the applause were well intended. Btw we were murdered in the first half and Ki coming on was a game changer, both Shelvey and Diame struggled and either would have benefitted from the other going off.

Debatable. Not at all, Brighton were awful. At home we need to be more positive, we’ve lost 5 on the spin at home, it’s not good enough.

We can’t score enough goals, we don’t have the quality. Rafa is getting it wrong against the lesser sides, Cardiff scored 4 at home today, we were 1 down at HT and got worse. Ashley is the disease but Rafa’s tactics at home have been questionable for well over a year now. We should have won today with what was available.
