I admire your optimism, pete, but it going to be very, very tough to get anything from our next 3 home games. By the end of those, who knows where we could be. Yes, we've beaten Man Utd before but that was about 6 or 7 years ago when we had a team capable of finishing in the top 3 and one of the finest managers in football. True, if we organise right and fight like dogs we can give the big boys a run for their money.....but thats the problem: we dont have a proper manager (or coach in our case) who can make astute tactical changes, we dont have the players to do that, and we dont have the character in our side to fight and stand up and be counted. We're a spineless team. We've been missing (good) luck for the past 40 years, what makes you think we'll get it on Wednesday night, or in the coming weeks? Agree, the fact we dont have a skilled manager to make the right tactical decsions and motivate the players is very worrying! That plus the side has no spine (lack of a consistant center midfield) makes us easy to play against at the mo!

Man U have got a world class goalkeeper to be in Foster, its great for England too, he should be starting for England now!

A great entertaining player, was NOT a waste of money and was actually my favourite player at the time, and that hat-trick v barca i will never forget. Thank you Kevin Keegan for bringing him to NUFC. Feel gutted for Joe, he absoloutly wanted the best for this club and anyone who thikns otherwise can fuck off! Knowone else wanted the post which he took on and to be fair to him he's put up with a lot of shit from both the board of this club over transfers and the majority fans who i believe have never accepted him and what he was trying to do. Until these two factors are resolved this club will never turn the corner. All i can say is get well soon Joe, thankyou for stepping up the plate and trying to save this club when knowone else could give a fuck, and if he has any sense he'l drop his dream of football management and concentrate on living the rest of his life.
