If he does go, and I really hope he doesn’t, would the club feel like we’ve got enough cover on the left with Willock, Joelinton, Barnes and even Isak / Osula? The money would go on a starting centerback and right sided forward I guess?
Howe will want 6 midfield options next season, I’m not counting Miley in that 6 either so I’d imagine we’ll bring in another this summer. I’m against the majority here and I’d like to see Wilson stay and we focus on getting in a top class right winger and another centerback.
The club have navigated this superbly last few days. Yes we should never had been in this situation and the players leaving may become superstars of the future but hopefully it’s lesson learnt, this could have ended horribly.
