Howe will go full strength at the weekend, Tuesday to Sunday is plenty of time to recover. I think Gordon and Miggy will start on the flanks, only ‘surprise’ might be Wilson up top, I feel like he’d do a good job against these.

For me finishing top 7 will be fine, any form of European football next season should be the minimum. I think Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal will be clear of everyone by Christmas.

I was literally thinking the same thing, we might not get it right this year but you can bet they’ll try to improve next year and every year after that. Get a couple of wins together after the break and everything will be rosy again.

Wonder if he’ll revert back to Joelinton, Bruno and longstaff in the midfield three with Barnes, Wilson and Murphy up top with the champions league game the following Thursday in mind? One thing for sure is we will be seeing a lot more changes in the starting elevens first half of the season.

It’s all about confidence, a couple of wins and we’ll be fine again. It happens in football, all teams go through bad spells and this could be ours. How we bounce back is the key and hopefully Howe can do it.

Naive to say we will finish 6-8, could easily finish below that, just look at Chelsea last season.

Watching some of the highlights from our last season, I’m struggling to believe we can get anywhere near that this season. Some of our performances, goals and wins were unbelievable. Someone change my mind please!
