Would've preferred to see Atsu start. Glad Yedlin is in, though. Should be very useful on the counter. -
The signs under Rafa are already immensely positive. This is still a young group with lots of of time to develop under a great coach. And we will add to the squad in Jan and next Summer. I saw how gutted they were after the game and I think it'll only make them stronger. This is just the beginning of something great!

Obviously rusty and still has a lot of adapting to do, but I thought he was really decent (both going back and forward). Reckon he'll turn out to be a really decent full back for us.

Aren't we on course to beat the division's best ever points total? I'm not really sure how much more we can be getting. One of the best defences and the best attack, so far.
-
He's also had good games from the start, so that's a bit of an inaccurate conclusion, IMO.

Christ, this is all going a bit far. You wouldn't have thought we'd just been on a massive winning streak

Annoyed about the 'keeper swapping, he should've done it the other way round. Not going to crucify him, though. He'll take risks, some will come off and some won't. He'll win us a trophy.

He'd be the first winger on my teamsheet, at the minute. Had far less chances to play than others but he offers something we need and has contributed well. Deserves a solid few games. I'd actually consider dropping Ritchie over Gouffran, tbh.

My dad was at the game and said his performance was really flat. He's usually so passionate to play. It must be hard for a striker to not be getting a look in when he was in a good vein of form, but that's where Rafa's supposed to earn his cash.

We're much easier to play at home than away, like. We were bloody awful against Cardiff 3 weeks ago, too. We don't have enough threat and penetration when teams set themselves up to stifle. With Gayle off the pitch this is especially true. We scored from 2 great moves against Cardiff and then sat off in the second, I'd hardly call that lacking penetration. Ipswich also came to sit and were battered. Same with Brentford, no?
