Apart from his goal he was poor in my opinion. Sorry, should have said league start!

Was Cisse's last start against Cardiff? He played well in that game, iirc.

Fifth assist for the campaign is a pretty decent return.

Great result. Confidence was a little low after recent results, this should get us back on track.

Cabaye's pretty decent in the no.10 role against poorer sides, especially away from home, IMO. He's just not the long-term answer there.

Is that Sissoko's 5th assist of the season? Impressive, if so.

What's happened to Villa? There were some really positive signs at the back end of last season, they seem to have become a much more ponderous side.

Should've had his 5th assist of the season, yesterday. He'll be a fantastic player if he can add more consistency to his game, he shows flashes of being able to do really good stuff but has an erratic side. Still, he's good and there's nothing 'awful' about him at all.

He's just not that good as a wide forward. He's been pretty good on the left of a midfield 4 and a handy striker. The balance of our front 3 hasn't been right for a few weeks, I really like Gouff and Sissoko but they're not the right fit for a front trio.

Noticed how hard City worked today. Was quite impressed that I witnessed Nasri tracking back after losing the ball etc. You could see they had a hunger about them even though they weren't playing that well.

Just isn't a lone front man. He's a good footballer but just lacks the power to really occupy 2 centre halves and link play. He either needs a partner or to play on the left.

Thought we deserved a draw. Battling performance and a couple of chances. Don't like a front 3 of Sissoko/Remy/Gouffran though. They worked well in a 4-4-2 but the balance isn't quite right for a 4-3-3.

Fantastic today. He's getting good at holding off opponents and nipping around them.

Sounds like he can cross a ball with some consistency, we could do with that. Not that it matters, if we do get him, it'll be in the summer.

His touch was shocking. Desperately need a lad of his ilk that can actually last 90 minutes and play with some consistency.

I could see the theory in starting Shola but the reality is often very different. We need a striker to come in that is consistently good at holding the ball up.

He was OK, certainly not the worst of the bunch. He and Gouffran could do with a rest.

Stupid today. Said he had tired players and then started the ones that looked the most knackered.

Poor set up, poor decisions from the manager and players and some really poor performances. Some players were looking tired, which was obvious in the Arsenal game, I have no idea why they started.

Should really be looking to rest at least one of Gouffran and Sissoko. Poor from Pardew.

We've done pretty well. We're in a safe enough position to play positive football more consistently, that should be the focus for the second half of the season.

He's clearly not 'f***ing s***'. He's an average manager who's small-time. I couldn't give a toss about his comments to do with our size, his opinion on such matters isn't worth the effort.

He was mint. I loved his runs behind their defence.
