  1. Sums up how fucking pathetic we've been on just about every front. Shit from absolutely everyone involved.
  2. The midfield are 30 yards away from Cisse and nowhere to be seen in defence, what are they doing?
  3. The fact that they're to every second ball shows where our heads are at. Pathetic motivation and professionalism on show.
  4. It's more than that here. Players are much better than this, they're half asleep.
  5. This is fucking terrible. We've not even put 3 passes together, man.
  6. The Chronicle ‏@ChronicleNUFC 24m What's the excuse this time Mr Pardew? Try our random excuse generator http://bit.ly/1eZEoMA #NUFC Expand
  7. Deary me, I thought they were fake. They must be the worst ones yet.
  8. I still think Robert would've been more effective in this team - especially when we play 4-4-2 - and he'd have been excellent for Cisse, IMO. I also think Pardew would've liked the fact that he was a threat from deeper positions with his shooting and crossing, it would've meant less gaps to be exploited. Terrible philosophy, of course, I just think that's the kind of crap he always considers.
  9. Was Haidara's last start against City in the cup? He was really good in that game. Echo the sentiments of Hughesy's post too, Haidara's a better footballer and athlete that can be moulded into a much better full back.
  10. Well, AP's comments were that he could forgive Ben Arfa's lack of team/defensive work if he puts in the numbers, that's obviously not the case with Gouff as his defensive game *was* solid. Again, these aren't comments I agree with - I want HBA in the side - but that's why I think Ronaldo's right when he says that Robert would've been in the team as his statistical contributions were really high. I actually think Pardew would've liked Robert far more than the likes of HBA and Ginola, he'd have slotted in to his basic gameplan much easier with his game being less flashy and more direct.
  11. To be fair, Pardew did say that the reason Hatem wasn't in the team was because of his lack of goals and assists. Not that I agree with his comments but Ronaldo is right, Robert's stats would've been too hard to ignore, even for AP.
  12. That piece of skill for Anita was brilliant. His decision-making has been good the last couple of matches, his releasing of the ball has been better after beating players etc. I really hope he pushes on for the remaining games, it's the most excitement we'll have.
  13. There's no individual brilliance to bail him out now. If he was in the least bit creative and forward-thinking then he'd be looking to get the lads really playing positive stuff while our season has no other meaning. How hard can it be to set up a style of play that suits the people that are meant to get you goals? They mightn't be great strikers but, bloody hell, at least try and gear things towards them a little bit. Try and speed things up or spread the opposition's defence out a bit for crossing... Do something!
  14. I don't think we have anyone else we can mould our game around tbh, going forward he should be the main man. While Remy's out, I'd tend to agree. Although, Cisse's the most likely to get goals while Loic's missing so it should be set up to give him the best chance of scoring. We badly need some players in the Summer
  15. Sissoko's played some great passes over the last couple of games. Total myth that the lad can't do technical stuff, he's inconsistent but the ability is certainly there.
  16. Haidara has way more potential. We'd get far more in the long run by giving him a go.
  17. Part of me thinks it's Pardew trying to be clever by playing him as some false winger or something. The 2 up top have certainly been working the channels a lot more over the last 2 matches and I wonder if it's some sort of plan for the 2 wide players to come infield while the forwards move out. Whatever it is, it's shit and there appears to be absolutely no structure to it. It plays right into the hands of teams when we're at home.
  18. His constant moving central was baffling but we saw that against Palace. I just don't get it and it's one of the most counter-productive moves ever. It narrows us and takes away wide outlets which completely defeats the point of playing with 2 strikers, especially when the opposition are set up in such a way which means they're happy as Larry for things to always come through the middle and become congested. We appear to have no clue when it comes to opening a team up. It's embarrassing.
  19. I don't think the side should be built around him but he should certainly be one of the main men in our attacking game.
  20. Sick of his Gouffran malarkey. So little width and threat from out wide. Makes the playing of two strikers that seem to thrive from service in the box completely pointless as there are so little options for delivery. Sick of our slow play as well. Keeping the ball and possession play is all well and good but it actually has to lead to something with some pace and movement to hurt the opposition.
  21. Yeah, he was woeful. Was the linesman really from Durham?
