Edwards' article says players are too interested in worrying about tactics rather than the team's demise. Err...
-
Expect to see a similar article from Edwards tomorrow, that'll be his juicy news.

West Ham vs Newcastle Utd - 04/05/13 @ 3pm (No TV)

Aye, they seemingly can't handle being at home right now. -
Aye who aren't being played in centre midfield. Cabaye started as the advanced midfield at the weekend allegedly. With one attacker to pass to, what a shambles. Have no idea why he was the furthest man back for that second goal on the weekend though. Perch and Tiote stood near the box, while our playmaker is back with the centre halves. Just what is going on?

Jonas was an absolute disgrace, left Johnson to wander off time and time again. -
My dislike for this man just reached new levels, I think it is actual hatred and I don't think I've ever hated someone before. How shit can you be to get us in this mess?
-
What you talking about, Wullie?! There can't be a Frenchman in a relegation threatened team, they'd just give up because that's what the French do.
-
Just shows how quickly things can change tbh, everyone thought they were safe but they're right back in it. Massive wake up for Di Canio, welcome to the big leagues. We won't capitalise on their shitness.
-
Don't trust he'll make the right decisions to get us what we need, a win. He'll rely on useless shite like Jonas and Shola for their experience and they'll struggle to do a damn thing. He's not learnt a thing all year, it won't change.
-
Exactly, it's mental. We're now one place above the relegation zone with three games left coming off a f***ing pasting at home whilst Villa just took apart a rival and moved up a place. Thought our lot were nervy in recent weeks? Try now they're staring down the barrel. The difference in momentum is like night and day. Just got to hope we come out how we did at West Brom. Hopefully now there's been a realisation we're in the shit and we need to go for points.
-
Glad PDC was shown up tonight, going to be interesting how he reacts to that.
-
It's just so strange though, he didn't play at all like this in France. It's mental, seeing such changes in players. Obviously, he's struggled with the physical element at times but the basic stuff?! This is a player that was receiving serious accolades for his work last season and has had a growing reputation for a few years. You can see how uncomfortable he is on the ball as well, which again, is the complete opposite to what he was like in France. The fact players don't seem to know what they're doing, aka they're doing different things, is probably telling on the coaching side. The fact there's no organiser at the back is just compounding the issue.
-
As if we're scratting around with the likes of the Mackems and that Villa side.
-
I'd wager that instance was more tactical than individual to be honest. We seem to go for some mish-mash press. In that analysis it was clear as day that in terms of being a unit, we're very poor at the minute. But, why are these players doing different things to one another? Like some pushing out while others stay back, is that down to a lack of clarity? We look clueless. MYM looks a shell of his early form, he was actually trying to organise the defence in initial appearances, looks timid as anything these days, and Taylor doesn't take charge either.
-
To be fair for that second goal, he shouldn't be that high but do we not have a cover system for defence? One full back pushes up and the other stays back, it's basic.
-
He highlighted it earlier on, there's no unity or organisation in that back 4, Colo brings the former at least. The midfield's got off lightly a bit mind.
-
Deary me, this is a slaughtering and a half.
-
So much negligence on all fronts. I would never have imagined such a spectacular collapse in January, and the mental thing is, we're not even that far off mid-table. I'm in a strange place at the minute, can't get it off my mind, sometimes I feel vaguely hopeful for West Ham (or at least getting a win somewhere down the line) after some of the West Brom performance and at others I feel no hope at all, almost consigned to going down even if there are many variables to it.
-
Argh man, still can't believe we are where we are. Absolutely ridiculous.
-
I miss the good old days of being able to rip it out of them. What a mess this pillock has got us in to.
-
The Mackems are in a decent run of form, I don't think they'll win tonight but I think a draw's probably on the cards. I think we'll get something from the next 3, we followed up our last dreadful result with a semi-decent performance and good point, some slight (naive) hope.
-
Probably some player arguments after the game or a manager/player standoff, or something like that. Perhaps a naked Pardew headbutted Jonas?

Whoscored.com do them. http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/615283/MatchReport/England-Premier-League-2012-2013-Newcastle-United-Liverpool Go on the match report tab and head down to Positional Report, there's a pitch graphic. Select player positions and voila. Perch, Sissoko and Cabaye ontop of each other I haven't the foggiest what Perch is doing there like. He's either neglected his defensive midfielder role or been told to get forward. -
