It should've stood as an assist, tbh, surprised they've not retrospectively granted it. The rule is apparently if it takes a touch then that's fine but it can't be 'significant'.

Wilson is a proper alpha lad he looks in pain when asked about Isak in interviews. Saw a podcast clip where he was getting riled about being called supersub as well. Pretty sure NUFCTV didn't go there in their latest post-match with him. He had scored a fantastic goal, tbf.

'That Isak skill was so good, I bloody love bin Salman and his policies!' the bloke is an absolute moron.

Would be class if someone could just isolate Keane's movements for the goal without anyone else on the pitch.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

We sound pretty savage about making sure that squad is as lean and efficient as possible, considering FFP budgets. It wouldn't be a shock to see us cut bait on him in the summer, while he's got good market value, purely based on fitness concerns and look to bring in someone like Diaby. I do think he's been unlucky this season and that part of the problem could be that he's bulked up. Saw a clip of us a couple of years back and he looks a lot smaller, I can't imagine the additional muscle is good for him considering how much he twists and accelerates in games. -
This is still a running theme from last January. 'They've spent loads of money' followed by 'wouldn't take any of their players in our XI'
-
Pedro would be a cracking signing for them.

If we get into Europe then anything title-related is going to be very, very hard, but we should be allowed to dream! We're going to have to learn how to manage the squad and play with the extra games against some top quality opponents. Going for a domestic cup should still be a huge priority next season over probably anything else, for me.

RTG gets rightful grief but I think some of the lot on RAWK are the least self-aware going. Myopic twats.

That volley effort what a player he's becoming. So much talent.
-
I'd say he's player of the season at this point. He's been 7/10 pretty much every week across multiple positions. We have more important players in lots of ways but Joelinton sums up Howe's Newcastle perfectly.
-
Even in the first half he had some impeccable moments on the ball to get us going forward, it was just mixed in with some turnovers. That's the nature of playing him as our deepest mid who is so willing to take the ball and always look to build play first.

Billionaire-backed clubs complaining about the 'danger' of loadsa money. Shameless
-
He's a fucking freak. What a player.
-
I think we're banking on it. Isak to kill the game off.
-
Almiron is usually very decent in his possession play, tbh. He'll sort it.
-
We're slowing the game down to manage the crowd and have been a little lax in general play with it. We're always at our best when we go for it and force things to be open. Feel like we've been relatively comfortable still, tbh.

Liverpool will draw with one of Villa, Spurs or Brentford. Fancy Leicester to hold them in a high-scoring draw too.
-
Really think we should go for Hickey. He's as 2-footed as they come so can play either FB position if needed, great athlete and attacking runner, decent defensively with plenty of room to grow there under good coaching.
-
It's going to depend on outgoings as well. I'd expect a GK, LB, CB, 2 mids (one more defensive, one more attacking), and a striker who can play on the wing. Team spirit really is an important part of our current success so this summer is going to be a test. I think the majority of this summer's incomings are going to be young players who can play in the first XI but wouldn't necessarily expect to start straight away. At least 1 or 2 will be of the elite ilk though.

Yeah, their big Achilles heel is their lack of depth. I imagine they're going to find the final stretch tough with so many games and little options to rotate. They do control possession very well but their game does require real energy.
-
I'm still in absolute awe of that pass, like. It's a work of art.
-
There are moments and games where you don't want him as the 6 still but he's absolutely fantastic there the majority of the time.

Today's pass had my hands on my head in disbelief. It was Iniesta-like. What a fabulous footballer he is when on form.
