  1. Literally about to post something similar. Note on his twitter bio, it mentions QPR. I guess that means he's close to the Reuben Brothers then.
  2. Either the PL feel very confident in the stance and position they are taking or they didn't think that Mike Ashley would actually take it legal.
  3. To be fair, this is a follow up. Just more of the PL not making any kind of decision...
  4. MMA at it again... https://twitter.com/MoneyMikeAshley/status/1305480906887630850?s=20
  5. I agree but then that's the PL's problem, not ours. This is of course dependant on if it is actually written somewhere that they do re-check club's owners. They should do if they have to pass this test in the first instance.
  6. If it's true that they are meant to redo the checks on every club every 12 months then this is how they tackle this potential problem. Approve the deal then in 12 months, if there seems to have been influence from MBS, then do something about it.
  7. I'd be interested to know how it plays out because if it's deemed that he's due compensation then that must mean that the PL have failed in some way. If the PL have failed then surely, the takeover can still potentially go through. Maybe?
  8. At this stage I'm thinking the PL will be more determined than ever to refuse the takeover. But even without the takeover I want them getting hammered financially, even if it all goes to Ashley. If they refuse it then fine, we can go into the appeal process. They are going to find it impossible to carry on with the "no decisions either way" retort that they have been handing out though. 100% Completely unacceptable that they've been able to get away with that line for so long.
  9. I think it's incredibly insulting to the fans given what Mike Ashley has done to the club over the last 13 years.
  10. What does playing football on the 'front foot' mean ?
  11. No way that's Ashley. Not sure he's ever shown that level of wit in his personality. As positive and as brilliant the tweets have been, there's no basis for believing there's any substance behind them (I think anyway, unless there's something that they've shown to be ITK about). I really want to believe them but whoever is it could just well be the best wind up merchant on the internet.
  12. The levels of mediocrity will be high this season.
  13. Definitely in overdrive now. https://twitter.com/MoneyMikeAshley/status/1304765047202340865?s=20
  14. How the fuck can anyone defend this bloke, man.
  15. and how much the PL don't. Unless they are ok with the deal but are holding out as long as possible for some for a massive sweetener for themselves, my fear is that they are never going to back down.
  16. This is where I am. I was convinced nothing was going on. Clearly something has. I'm very happy to say that I was wrong about that. However, what and to what extent remains to be confirmed. No one from the consortium has spoken. All we have (unless i've missed something) is what Caulkin has relayed (the optimism from him I find mystifying) and from proven liar and bullshitter Mike Ashley. There are still so many questions about what, exactly, has happened since the 'withdrawal'.
