The club is utterly fucked if that's the case. The best time for Ashley to get out is now and surely he recognises this. It also depends on if any of his advisors have the balls to disagree with him if at any point thinks about rejecting the offer outright. We know he doesn't surround himself with people who disagree with any of his decisions.

My biggest concern is that Ashley is a gambler first, businessman second.

Her eyes are all over the parish watching that vid. She's clearly a psychopath. Yeah, she comes over as very intense. I don't mix in business circles, but that is some impressively fluent businesspeak. She barely pauses for breath or descends into the empty guff people on the news come out with. I must admit I thought the opposite. I was expecting her to speak very intensely but I felt that there were one or 2 occasions where she almost seemed to stumble over her words. I thought that made her seem 'normal'.

As has been said, it's all about showing any potential new owners what the support at this club is like and not creating a poisonous atmosphere for a bloke who is unlikely to even be there. Needs to be loud in support of Rafa and the team.

I don't think they are. Mike Ashley is selling a football club that has an average squad of players by Premier League standards. That's all because of his lack of proper investment. I think it's fair for them to use that as a negotiating tool.

Probably a total guess from them but I think it's a fair assumption to make.

basic gist of it is he thinks 300m is undervaluing the club (380m is what he thinks) and the potential relegation clauses are very unusual and thinks it unlikely that Ashley would accept them, both smart business people and nufc great prospect to buy Relegation clauses probably wouldn't even come into it if the useless cunt hadn't mis-managed the club so much.

If it's true then they are as clueless as Ashley and we'd be better off without them as well. I don't believe it for one moment.

The exact example I was thinking of. I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of Brummie (if he's still reading this forum) but I'm not aware that Lerner constantly shat on the history of Aston Villa Football Club nor did he make a stream of decisions that seemed, on the face of it, to be made purely out of spite and to piss the fans off. Not saying Lerner wasn't a disaster of course. He was clearly a terrible owner for them.
